This thread was FAR too long to post the entire thing here. Nitter link worked fine, people without an X account should learn how to modify the X account link to a Nitter link and then they can read the entire thread and all the replies.
I agree with the sentiment of copy-pasting for the record. Websites and news, especially have a habit of changing, as people go back and clean up their sh*t.

I don't agree with the Swedish government on this one, however if we agree to the standards this family had, then we have to agree to the standards people from other countries come to the US with.
I don't like the heavy handed tactics, and using the kids that the government did. I was yelling in my head to get those kids out of public school (is homeschooling an option in Sweden? I don't know) and get your family somewhere safe. I about lost it when, after all he went through, he finally didn't feel good about things and got a lawyer.
Finally? I didn't feel good about things right at the beginning! No-one interrogates my kids without me being there for hours when they are supposed to be in school!!!

I know of several cases where these "Protective Services", aided by Police, KIDNAPPED with brute force children from their parents, even though the only matter at hand was education: i.e. butterflies in the belly. And these kids fall into a void. The emotional, spiritual and mental damage these Evil Karen Bureaucrats do, is beyond measure.
I will also mention what happened with tax subsidies affair ... hundreds of children outplaced because the tax office, in conjunction with police and child services, thought it best to put these parents through the wringer.
In the Netherlands, 1500 children have gone missing. And there is no political avenue to shine a light on this. The system closes its ranks.
But not only that. Those who will try to shine a light on it, are publicly shamed, put legally through the wringer, and if chance is favorable, be tight up in legal battles for the rest of your funds and life.
