It has far more to do with the fact that America fails when it is diluted by compromise with a world left behind in its founding, than with simply "supra-nationa law"
Every attempt at globalism always disenfranchises the lowest tiers of society. Smaller community and social organizations find room for these lowest tiers. Even just "simple" issues of currency for example, rob the smallest of opportunity for the gain of the 1%
Not the entire SCOTUS, but enough of them, along with Congress, etc to have overthrown our Constitution. We have not had an honest government in decades. Actually, for over a century.
It's simple mathematics. The 3 counties surrounding the D.C. beltway hold some of the most expensive property and housing values of anywhere in the country. One simply can't afford to live in that area on the salaries that govt jobs provide, even for the highest levels. It's a big reason why we see elected officials and high level bureaucrats rooming with each other, even when their political and social views out them at odds with each other. Being a SC(r)OTUS justice is no different. Especially when they are appointed at relatively young ages, when the typical wealth values of most are just starting to expand.
We, as a nation, have become accustomed to seeing these poles and bureaucrats being wined and dined by the most politically and financially powerful people, corporations, and NGOs the world has ever known, while also becoming accustomed to being ruled by an ultra wealthy "super-elite." We have also become accustomed to these same officials draft, pass, or otherwise ram down our throats laws, rules, and regs that only benefit those same super-elites regardless of what their constituents say to the contrary. The reasons [they] give are only meant to placate The People in ways that keep us sidelined. Again, SC(r)OTUS is no different, because if you can control the very people that are tasked with interpreting these laws, rules, and regs as they relate to the U.S. Constitution, you can control the nation you're seeking to influence. It's why we have a bloated legal and tax code with myriad laws, rules and regs, and interpretations of them that violate the intentions of the U.S. Constitution as well as the very foundations themselves.
We've allowed it to happen, with nearly unchecked progress for over a century now, because while we have tried to maintain focus on the Executive and Legislative Branches through communication lines do ectyl to those offices, we failed to take into account open communication lines between The People and SC(r)OTUS for us to express our opinions before they make their "rulings." We've also lost focus of what they do outside of their court sessions, by effectively allowing them to be secretly influenced by the very people, corps(es), and groups seeking to usurp power from The People.
Why should [they] bother to hide [their] contempt for us when we've also allowed [them] total control over the Judicial Branch by only allowing members from only two political parties to be nominated and appointed? By it's charter, SC(r)OTUS is supposed to remain politically neutral in relation to the rulings and decisions they make, yet each member almost exclusively makes their rulings/decisions based along party lines. This only gives the illusion of an "independent" governing body because both parties are controlled by the same people who seek to usurp The People's power, aka, the uni-Party. Again, if you can control the ways in which a nation's laws are interpreted and/or deciphered, you control the nation itself. Old man Rothschild only had it half right. Controlling a nation's money supply is only half of the equation. It's why we've seen SC(r)OTUS expanded from 5 judges to 9, with future plans from both ruling factions for another possible expansion. Control the laws, control The People.
We've become too lazy and complacent in modern times. The amount of communication avenues is at an all time high, yet we are at near all time lows in communication effort. Education opportunities is at an all time high, yet the amount of truly educated people is at near all time lows. As we advance technologically, instead of becoming smarter and more well rounded in our knowledge, we are becoming dumber. The amount of paths to achieve wealth has increased, while our collective will to keep and maintain that wealth has declined. We've become too focused on just what we "think" we can influence, without actually considering just how much we CAN influence in our world if only we took the time to educate ourselves properly to the ways of the world. We are more vocal in some areas, but not enough in the areas that matter most. We're too focused on indivuality without taking the necessary steps to remain connected to both each other and our surrounding environments. And the more we remain so, the more we tighten the rope around our necks.
Real estate values in greater DC area exploded with expansion of federal gov’t under the Kenyan Chosen One’s terms. He maintains a residence in the “neighborhood” (unlike any other former president)
Simple solution would be this:
END the District of Columbia as a legal entity.
Convert to historic district for “tourism”only.
Continue “DOGE’ing the federal bureaucracy into the “lean”, worker bee “Public Servant” mentality that every line-level worker throughout the U.S. works under to get by.
End “organized labor” protection for all federal workers. Government “service” under the Founders was never intended as a life-long “career.”
END practice of Congress voting selves fat paychecks, pensions, overpaid staffers, etc.
LIMIT their session status to three months a year and NO PAY if they can’t pass a balanced, annual budget on time instead of this BS “continuing resolution” cr-p.
EVERY four years, the U.S. “capital” would rotate among all the 50 states in each of their WORST, most IMPOVERISHED per capita cities.
Get all these federal foo-hairs out in the country among We the People so they can see first-hand the results of their terrible decisions.
Realize now it’s not that simple, but that is general idea, which would also include drastically reducing the length and over-complication of all federal laws, codes and etc.
Why would any rich successful Supreme Court Justice adopt a black Haitian kid just to enrich their lives by screwing up their entire family unless there was some evil involved?
I have no doubt. I’m not going to say that all six who voted against the tariffs are, but I would bet that all appointed by dim presidents are and maybe those appointed by RINOs, (CJ?). But I was also bet that there are some true patriots on SCOTUS. I have put in other comments that the federal judiciary needs their own inspector general or some type of oversight. Check out all outside income and follow their coms. All the way from a lowly magistrate to all nine on SCOTUS. If you decide to accept the appointment of serving on the judiciary, then much of your life needs to be more transparent. The same goes for politicians.

She did that before she was ever a Surpreme Court Justice.
