My brother in law is pretty pissed off about it. He was a pilot as a warrent officer while he was in the marine corps. He is not buying the friendly fire story. I had no idea they dont turn their transponders off at war time. So I figured Kuwait has their own deepstate.
It appears to be from a Patriot system that could not distinguish friendlies. The situation is very fluid and Kuwait has been getting hammered. Sometimes an oversight happens - especially when there are several different actors. Something possibly to do with some codes that need to be updated every 24hrs. It will be dialed in no doubt. Max Afterburner has an excellent video breaking down what happened.
JUST IN: Video emerges of Kuwaitis aggressively approaching one of our downed fighter pilots, but as soon as the pilot tells them he’s AMERICAN, they back off
It seems the Kuwaitis thought an IRANIAN jet had just been downed, and they were going to take care of business. 😉
Sadly, 2 more American service members have been killed in the ongoing conflict with Iran, raising the total US military death toll to 6. The remains of the 2 service members were recovered from a facility struck during Iran’s initial attacks in the region, according to CentCom.
The first 3 US troops were killed in a direct Iranian strike on a makeshift operations center at a civilian port in Kuwait, with no warning or sirens preceding the attack. A fourth service member later died from injuries sustained in the same incident. The recovery of the two previously unaccounted-for personnel brought the total to 6 killed in the same missile strike.
May God be with and comfort those left behind and may these brave souls find peace with God. Thank you for your service. We will be forever grateful.

I'm not happy about any of this insanity, this was a huge mistake. America First, No New Wars. Simple.
This whole thing is a miscalculated mistake wrapped in being beholden to campaign contributions and the will of Bibi and Zionist insanity. We are $40 trillion in debt, infiltrated by 40 million yahoos and Americans are starving and broke.
I'll wait to see how God steers this insanity, man is busy being man, whom cannot in any way govern itself. I don't wish to debate, just my opinion (No War, no matter what ), in contrast to those dancing.
Remember when Iran blew up the military barracks in Beirut ? What did Clinton do about it ? I think he bombed a pharma company or some shit that had nothing to do with it. Iran was due to be dealt with.
The Crown Prince Pahlavi has been working on a transitional government for the last two years - seriously. They already have an interim parliament and detailed transition plans to get the country functioning. Iran has some severe problems because the regime robbed the country blind and didn't take care of basic infrastructure - like water and energy. Those problems will have to be addressed immediately. Large parts of the country will be out of water in a matter of weeks or months.
The people of Iran will be given a chance to vote for the form of government they want. So far there seems to be a consensus based upon the principle of a secular democratic framework that guarantees separation of state and religion and equality for all citizens. Whether there is to be a constitutional monarchy is up to the people. The prince is only offering his services to head up this transitional government till the people can vote by referendum for what they want. He just wants to restore the country. The man seems very humble, intelligent, and articulate. The plan is very well thought out and detailed. Trump was impressed even though he cannot publicly come out and say so at the moment or publicly back the prince. Judging by the statements both of them have made recently, they are on the same page.
They are literally running out of water due to corruption and decades of mismanagement. The whole of the middle east is dealing with severe water crisis and it is getting bad. What terrifies me is that if something is not done soon, there could be waves of demographic relocation the likes which we have never seen before.
The repeat stories about Iran on here are getting horrible. For several days has almost all posts about it, so I just glanced and there are very few posts about any thing else. Sorry but it has been useless coming here. I do come and point the infiltrators. I now go to Badland videos for Great Reports. POTUS pointed them out. This war is a big deal and part of the plan, not to mention there are American lives on the line. Some on this board have loved ones serving in that theater. I, like others, have great interest in what is happening over there and this is the place where we can get the latest information.

CentCom has now confirmed the destruction of Iran’s first dedicated drone carrier, IRIS Shahid Bagheri, in the Persian Gulf during the opening hours of Operation Epic Fury on Feb 28. CentCom stated the vessel sustained critical damage and is reportedly sinking. The command emphasized that no US aircraft carriers were hit, dismissing Iranian claims of sinking an American carrier as false messaging. According to CentCom,
The Iranian regime’s false messaging machine continues to falsely claim that it has sunk a US aircraft carrier. The TRUTH: The only carrier that has been hit is the Shahid Bagheri, an Iranian drone carrier. US forces struck the ship within hours of launching Operation Epic Fury.
The Iranian Navy now has no ships - all 11 of them. They also have no HQ and the Naval Commander has been eliminated.
The Qatar Emiri Air Force successfully shot down two Sukhoi Su-24 aircraft originating from the Islamic Republic of Iran. The ministry stated the intercepts were carried out in response to a coordinated attack involving multiple threats. The Qatar Emiri Air Force downed the two Iranian Su-24 fighter-bombers while they were approaching Qatari airspace. Seven ballistic missiles were intercepted by air defense systems, with all destroyed before reaching their targets. Five drones were neutralized by combined efforts of the Qatar Emiri Air Force and Qatar Emiri Navy Forces.
The threat was addressed immediately upon detection, in accordance with established operational plans. The ministry emphasized that Qatar’s armed forces possess full capabilities to safeguard national sovereignty and respond firmly to external threats. Citizens, residents, and visitors were urged to remain calm, follow official instructions, and rely only on verified information from official channels. The incident marks the first known instance of a Gulf country engaging and downing a manned Iranian aircraft during the escalating regional conflict following US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
This must be 2 of the fighters that Russian recently sent to Iran in the last several weeks. Not sure how many were sent. Doesn't look too good right now for Chinese and Russian weaponry.
Putin can't send anything good because he simply doesn't have it to spare. The Iranians were actually promised equipment they never received. In fact, Putin needs all the air defense systems he can get his hands on just to defend Russia - and sometimes it fails in Russia.
Ukraine's drones and home grown missiles are destroying vital Russian energy infrastructure and military facilities. Russia has gotten so desperate for military vehicles they have actually started using horses, donkeys, and I have even heard of camels being used. Didn't see any videos of camels, but I did see them using horses and donkeys to move around. A supposedly modern army using 19th century tech. Many of the frontline soldiers lack proper outfitting for winter and are freezing to death. What gear they are issued is all made in China and it's basically crap - especially boots. Many Russian soldiers buy their own boots before they are deployed along with other equipment. The Russian soldiers say those Chinese boots fall apart in a couple of weeks out in the field.
The Kremlin just released a statement blaming Iran for the air defense systems not working. China does the same thing, even in China. When their equipment massively fails, blame the operator - not their crappy military equipment. China does it even with their EVs that crash or malfunction. It's always the driver's fault. Both Russia and China blamed the Venezuelans when their equipment failed early Jan when Maduro was nabbed. They also blamed Pakistan when their equipment failed. Thailand had a new Chinese tank that blew off the barrel. China blamed the operators for the failure. No, this is a typical pattern of poor equipment that is overhyped. Their military industrial complexes are not looking good right now and the excuses are no longer working. Nations are cancelling orders. This is not just Iran, it is a systemic problem for both China and Russia and it is showing.
US-flagged tanker Stena Imperative, part of the US Navy's Tanker Security program, was struck by two projectiles while in the shipyard in Bahrain. The attack caused a fire on board and killed one dockworker and injured two others. The fire was extinguished and the American crew evacuated the ship. At the Strait of Hormuz, ships remain on either side as War Risk Insurance is renegotiated by the shipping companies to allow the resumption of voyages through the Strait.
I find it interesting how the talking heads on the news absolutely gush when they talk of "The Supreme Leader" vs how they grunt the name "Trump", with venom.
Reports coming in that the nuclear complex in Arak has been destroyed. Part of the complex was targeted by the Israelis this last June. Iranian TV is also reporting that the Arak complex was struck.
Things kicked off on the streets in Bahrain. There are large numbers of IRGC sympathizers in Bahrain and now they are causing trouble. Did not see any security forces dealing with the chaos in the videos I saw. Any countries that have given sanctuary to these thugs will now probably end up regretting their decision. Are you listening UK and Canada?
Dubai could also be an area to watch. Noted a lot of air traffic flowing into Dubai from Iran on IRGC Mahan Airlines the last several weeks. Besides moving money out of Iran, some of the IRGC rats were probably jumping ship and may have ended up there or made connections to somewhere else.
The value system in Islam is completely different. Jihad is a core pillar of what they believe. It all boils down to struggle and submission - whether on a personal level or a larger tribal/national one. Their violence is kind of baked into the cake. In addition, they are not allowed to judge or condemn another Muslim's jihad. This is why they never speak out about the brutality and oppression of other adherents. When dealing with the outside world they appear united under the banner of Islam, but among each other their differences take center stage often erupting in violence. You are right. It has been a long time since Christianity's internal differences have erupted into the kind of hatred and violence we see from Islam. Christianity has developed more of a live and let live mindset when dealing with other Christians realizing that those differences should not violate our core beliefs of love and compassion.
Then there is the whole issue of how they deal with non-Muslims/infidels - even if they are technically dealing with another Muslim. Infidel Muslims are not treated much better than a non-Muslim. Christianity values treating others fairly and with compassion. Not so in Islam. They are given permission, if not outright mandated, to treat others badly and bring them under submission to Islam - with violence if necessary. Christianity had a history of that kind of forced submission to the faith but thankfully we have moved beyond that level of power seeking often driven by organized Christian centers.
So trying to maintain a lasting peace among these people is not likely because it has everything to do with how their belief system is built and what it stands for - struggle and submission versus love and compassion. This is also a main reason why Christianity and Islam are not compatible.
You are most welcome fren. That is what we are all here for - to share whatever our individual expertise is for the benefit of everyone here. This area happens to be one of mine.
Update on earlier post about fighter jet crashes in Kuwait. Altogether there were 3 F-15E fighters shot down by Kuwaiti air defense. All 6 crew members parachuted out and are safe.
Trump and Hegseth cannot say we won't be putting boots on the ground because we need the enemy to think we're willing to use all options. The US media knows this and is using it against Trump.
Exactly my point. They can make any headline they want, if they ask a question that can't be answered for strategic reasons, and frame the non-answer to suit their narrative.
It would all depend on what is meant by boots on the ground. If it means regular armed forces in mass, absolutely not. But, if what is meant is special operations forces sent in to do a particular job and leave, like the Maduro operation, that is possible. We do have personnel and equipment prepositioned I believe in Azerbaijan that specialize in these operations. It all depends on what they need to do. We wouldn't even find out until after a mission was completed.
IMO this is all part of Trump's ambiguity strategy. He doesn't like being predictable. Trolling the press is his specialty.
Iran sinks their own refueling tanker near the Straight of Hormuz in an attempt to shut down shipping through the straight. Iran has lost control over their military forces in the field. They are acting independently on their own. This is why there have been seemingly random attacks on civilian areas of Gulf States. Trump then decided to take out the Iranian naval fleet. He is not playing. Iranian Foreign Minister blames the US and Israel for the attacks. The regime is in chaos.
Update: Information coming in that the Commander of the Iranian Navy was eliminated in the US attack on the Naval HQ yesterday.
That is the point. Basically there is no central command at the moment. It is currently every small group for themselves. Decisions have been left to their individual discretion. That is why the attacks are all over the place.
My understanding is that behind the scenes there are deals that are trying to be brokered with the Trump administration. Defections are happening. Trump alluded to this in one of his previous statements. We will just have to wait and see what happens. Trump also said things are going faster than what they anticipated. But, we still need to take out those rouge elements scattered throughout the country, but they are mostly on the southwestern part of Iran. We are also hitting nuclear installations and other strategic targets. We own the skies over Iran right now. Hit them while we can so hard they can't get back up.
I posted this on day 2 because day 3 was not up yet. So I will repost here.
A US military aircraft, F-15E Strike Eagle crashed near Al Jahra, Kuwait, with all crew members safely recovered. The Kuwaiti Defense Ministry stated that both the pilot and weapons systems officer (WSO) ejected safely and are in stable condition after being evacuated and receiving medical care. The Kuwaiti Army is reporting that several fighter jets crashed. Those reports are yet unconfirmed.
Iranian state media shared video footage claiming to show a US F-15 fighter jet spiraling downward and crashing in Kuwait, asserting it was shot down by Iranian forces. The video shows flames and a rapid descent, followed by parachute deployment.
While the USAF and US CentCom have not yet issued an official statement, several international news outlets, including NDTV, Hindustan Times, and Republic World, have reported the incident based on verified videos and regional sources.
The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed, with speculation ranging from a mechanical malfunction to friendly fire or being shot down during the ongoing conflict. Independent analysts have geolocated the crash site west of Al Jahra, near coordinates 29.343545, 47.645204. A full investigation is underway.
Thank God both crew members are safe and are in friendly territory.
Those same keffiyeh wearing people that were in the streets chanting Free Free Palestine are now chanting Hands Off Iran when the Iranian people are protesting for freedom and getting slaughtered for it. These fools can't see their own hypocrisy.
