THE B-52 SIGNAL: The U.S. Air Force just sent a message to the world—not through a press release, but through aircraft selection. The arrival of the B-52 Stratofortress over Iran marks a definitive shift in Operation Epic Fury. To understand the gravity, you have to understand the sequence of the last 96 hours.
Military strategists use specific tools for specific phases of a campaign. Here is the timeline of the "Big Wave":
Feb 28 (The B-2 Spirit): Stealth is required. $2.1 billion per aircraft. You send the B-2 when air defenses are lethal and intact. They dropped 160,000 lbs of bunker-busters on hardened underground sites.
March 2 (The B-1 Lancer): Speed over stealth. You send the supersonic B-1 when defenses are degraded. These conducted the deepest raids since 2003.
March 3 (The B-52): The "Giant Barn." It’s 70 years old, subsonic, and visible on every radar on Earth.
The takeaway? You only send the B-52 when there is nothing left to shoot it down.
By the Numbers: Quadrupling the Firepower
The transition to the B-52 isn't just symbolic—it's a massive escalation in payload:
Strike Capacity: The U.S. has 76 B-52s compared to just 20 B-2s. We just quadrupled our available heavy bomber strike capacity.
Payload: Each B-52 carries 70,000 lbs of ordnance per sortie.
Intensity: 1,700 targets struck, 300 new sites added. The campaign is intensifying, not tapering
Dear Commander-in-Chief President Trump and Secretary Hegseth,
This sounds like a joke but it's not: Can we please, please, please have a B-29 Superfortress join in the fray plus a P-51, P-47 and a P-38 strafe ground targets? Video in high def. Doesn't even have to be a risky mission. Object is to send a SYMBOLIC message worldwide; optical equivalent of US Mil beating Globalism with one hand tied behind its back. Remember the Yuge impact of simply Potus manning a Garbage Truck. Consequences if successful: reminds everyone of WHO WE ARE, demoralizes the enemy, implodes every leftist on Earth... making Patriots jubilant worldwide, reconnecting them with our history, helping to restore national pride, bringing people to remember why our forefathers fought and died, and why we will proudly salute the American Flag, One Nation Under God.
And also likely secured the Justification for another 4 rounds of upgrades and overhauls to keep the BUFF in service till 2100.
It’s turning into a Multi-generational aircraft that’s outlived its replacement, it’s replacements replacement, and is currently competing with the replacement of itself replacements replacement
I was going to say "no faggy British planes please.". And counter with a proper American bi-plane.
But, after some research, turns out we were so unprepared for war that we didn't have one. Our boys flew fag and frog and even wop planes. What a shame.
Crop dust like a farmer spraying his fields or crop dust like me spraying an elevator full of innocent people? Because while either would be acceptable, one of them is, technically, a war crime.

Love, Adoring Frogs Everywhere
That would be so badass.
Consider yourself John Hancock on this letter and I will be Josiah Bartlett.
Excellent, Smithers.

B-17s are still good, with no enemy radar it's a no brainer.

Updooted for a good post (and to counter the shill-fag downdooting this thread w/o commenting.)
When I worked on the Hill, there was a yearly fight over money to fund development. Apparently it's justified the expenditure.
It should make it to the century of service mark.
A few of those airframes are old enough to get social security.
All your anti-aircraft are belong to us.
Damn was rooting for the Sopwith Camel.
Funny, you mentioned "camel"

They can drop a lot of low cost Iron. Using GPS add ons a standard drop bomb can now have very good precision from high altitude.
Takes me back..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snTaSJk0n_Y
Glide bomb kits turn cold war fossils from the stockpile into deadly smart ordinance.
“Hell raining down on you; curtesy of the Red White and Blue.”
A workhorse of our military. Works best when all of the enemy radar is destroyed.😉
Exactly.
"We're not going to waste our good stuff on you"
Target the love shack, baby
Soon to be:
🎶 Tin roof...... Busted 🎶
Open those bomb doors... and 2-tons of dust drops out.
Crop dust the Iranians as part of the payload.
Crop dust like a farmer spraying his fields or crop dust like me spraying an elevator full of innocent people? Because while either would be acceptable, one of them is, technically, a war crime.
I replaced the shill's downdoot for everyone kek
We have apparently taken out air defense system. Hurrah.
The B-52 leaves nothing but rubble and mile long & quater mile wide
This is like doing a bombing run during WWII using WWI bi-planes just to flex your air dominance.
🎶 B52 baby,way up in the sky...🎶
