Yeaaaaaaahhhh..we are selling our gasoline to the world, thus OUR prices are going up because of supply and demand. Pinched supply along with 121 tankers means scarcity in the supply of gasoline. Thus our current cost is $4/gal. Grrrr.... let the world pump/refine their own stinking gas and leave us alone. I want cheaper gas prices.
Whatttttt!!!!!!!!??????? That is outrageous. If we had $6 gas here in MO. there would be riots and pitchforks. I really hope our national gasoline prices will be coming down, soon. But, I feel we have to bear some pain first, for whatever reason Q has in mind, so we have a path to that cheap gas.
I doubt in the short term our reserves will be depleted, but over the next 50-100 years we'd better figure out how to dig up new oil fields or lessen our dependence on oil to move our cars.
Or just go back to our old oil fields and start pumping them again. It’s called fossil fuel for nothing because it is technically renewable in that old fields come back. We don’t know exactly how it’s created and just maybe it’s 100% renewable and not related to fossils.
What about our refining capacity? I live in a small rural town that has a Phillips refinery. It is one of refineries that has a coker unit. I'm not sure what the output is.
Yep. I bet it's cheap because our tax dollars are subsidizing their oil patch. Get the criminals out of Congress and i bet a lot of "America First" laws will get passed, quickly.
Oh, that's easy! Big oil is an arm of the deep state. Since President Trump is taking avenues of revenue streams away from the DS, they have to get that money somehow. Thus the old trope of "when wars happen oil skyrockets" is being churned every single day. Big oil is soaking the American public because it can. Trump will curtail this theft, but not right now. Give it until the end of summer so big oil can waller in their profits and the Trump brings the hammer. Yea, it sucks, but let's be patient and let the Q boys do their thing. All will be well, we just have to let the plan play out.
I have tried to understand this as well. I don't have a good explanation and I would love to have one. Theres just not a single point made about it other than confusion..
Every drop of oil on the Globe is sold into the Global market and is the price that is set I guess by OPEC which sets the price per barrel... I know it's stupid.
Glenn Beck suggests it's because we don't have the refineries to process our Light sweet crude. But we can process Venezuelan and Middle Eastern crude all day long..
It’s very interesting, I realize fuel prices are driven by the market, but the average Joe on the street that doesn’t bother to do anything more than crack open a six pack or turn on the TV to watch the hockey scores and votes accordingly doesn’t give a rats ass about what’s going on with geopolitical events, he’s just tired of putting five dollar a gallon diesel into his 1 ton pick up which he never tows anything with to drive to his job every day…
For those complaining about current gas prices can we just stop. Ask yourself what you are willing to pay to have our freedom and our Country BACK. suck it up buttercup, it’s only temporary and God didn’t say it would be smooth sailing!
TRUMP: "China can send their ships to the U.S., China can send their ships to Venezuela...empty oil carrying ships from many nations are all headed to the U.S. to load up."
Harris Faulkner: "68 of those 121 vessels are very large crude carriers capable of carrying 2 million barrels apiece."
"President Trump has urged countries squeezed by Iran's disruption of the Strait of Hormuz to turn to American energy supplies instead."
"Well — it would appear perhaps they are obliging him. They are listening to Trump!" @HARRISFAULKNER
MASTERCLASS MOVE. Something tells me this was the intended outcome all along! 🤔👍😏

I beat you is $5 here in Florida
WA state chiming in at $6+. But I’m surprised @ prices in FL.

I have to travel to schools because I am a guest teacher/substitute, it is not good.
I can't help but wonder the same. Will this deplete what we need for ourselves?

Gas is still (very) cheap in the middle east.
Yep. I bet it's cheap because our tax dollars are subsidizing their oil patch. Get the criminals out of Congress and i bet a lot of "America First" laws will get passed, quickly.
Yet, Americans are paying spot world prices at the pump for oil drilled and refined in the United States. Make that make sense please.

Yep, I'm confused by it as well. I would love someone here who can explain I lt please do so.

I also found this on the DOE website..
Thats all well and good, but why arent we making sure we dont have 5.00 at the pump for 93 instead of feeding the world our oil
93!? Shit our 87 is 4.99 right now

He needs to get a Geo Metro or Toyota Prius. Kek!
10 cents a gallon in Libya 13 Venezuela Kuwait 1.29
I'm fairly certain we're getting screwed
How does Libya have 10 cent gas? Certainly their transportation costs are way more than that!
Edit: Oh, I forgot, the American taxpayers are footing the bill. Grrrrrrr.

Wisdom ^^^^^^^
Would be wonderful if we used the gas here to take the price down. Mid-terms coming up and people will remember $5-6+ gas.
Why is this good? Gas has nearly doubled in 2 months doesn’t seem like a win
Nobody likes the higher prices, but what’s causing it is definitely a win. Just assume it’s temporary.

Sure looks that way. All we have to do is wait for the plan to work and listen to complaining. Even here with the complaining.
My gas is more than $5 a gallon common and I live in Florida
This did happen and I hope it’s still happening but I saw this exact Harris Faulkner news clip in April so this it not today’s breaking news.
wtf
Deja vu? Didn’t this headline happen like over a week ago already?
Meanwhile gas is alabama is above 4 dollars a gallon, yup, real win.
According to Glenn Beck,
https://youtu.be/II_0wFhAZFE?si=eGBAshUv13wuIsN_
The USA has lots of LSC, Light Sweet Crude, but not the refinery equipment needed to process it.
Apparently we are set up to refine imported heavy, dirtier crude from Venezuela and the Middle East.
So, what to do? Build new refineries, keep swapping crude around the globe..?
Hmm..? 🤔
Great. Watch your gas prices soar as American Refiners compete with the rest of the world for a limited resource. Fucking stupid
It’s a pattern - squeeze until they cry uncle. Give them relief and if need be squeeze again until they get the message.
Prices will start to fall soon and we’ll be more in control of the worlds oil.
Looks like Richard Medhurst was right.
