I don't like the idea of US states on other continents
Cuba and Greenland are in N. America, can be new US territories - IMHO they don't qualify for statehood any more than PR or DC
The idea of a sovereign 3rd world communist nation lurking 90 mi. off our shoreline has never made any rational sense - Trump will end this once and for all - in retaliation for just the Cuban missile crisis alone, we can take that island and make it a U$ touri$t hot$pot
Western Canadian provinces - welcome to the USA! Just move that border farther north, let's get rich together!
Reminds me if younger years... and those "Flaming Dr Pepper" concoctions...
1/2 shot of Chambord black raspberry liquor, rest of shot 151 proof Bacardi - light it on fire and drop it in a 16 oz glass of yuengling lager ... bottom's up!
Nickel and Cobalt: Cuba holds some of the largest nickel and cobalt reserves in the world. Nickel is one of the country's most vital export commodities, predominantly mined in the eastern province of HolguΓn.
Other Minerals:
The island also contains deposits of iron ore, chromium, copper, manganese, silica sand, zeolites, and salt.
Agriculture and Land
Arable Land: Cuba's fertile soils are a massive economic asset. The country's agricultural sector is heavily focused on producing sugarcane, citrus fruits, coffee, and world-renowned premium tobacco. [Also ideal for cultivation of cannabis, another hugely profitable ca$h crop with a limitle$$ market, but without the alarming addiction, heart disease, cancer, and lethality of tobacco.]
Timber: The island features tropical woodlands and timber resources, including valuable woods like mahogany, cedar, and pine.
Energy
Petroleum and Gas: Cuba extracts extra-heavy crude oil and natural gas, mostly from onshore and shallow near-offshore wells along the northern coast. However, this production is not enough to meet domestic demand, requiring significant oil imports.
Renewable Potential: The country is actively looking to expand its solar, biomass, and hydroelectric energy resources.
Biodiversity and Tourism
Marine & Coastal: Cuba's expansive coastlines, coral reefs, and mangrove swamps form rich marine ecosystems that support both commercial fishing and a robust tourism industry.
Venezuela has the highest murder rate in South America. Will this allow them to travel freely to Continental USA?!
I don't really think it's gonna happen any more than Canadastan is going to happen...
He's just trolling tards that get upset over this sort of thing
Not gonna updoot you off of 17, but I agree.
updoot him now, get to 47
Done...thanks for the heads up!
The murder rate could drop with economic prosperity.
Exactly. Before Venezuela was infected with Socialism, it was a wealthy capitalist country with safe cities and a thriving middle class.
Canadian Liberals raise a huge cheer in relief.

I love the trolling.
If they ACTUALLY became a state, their population indicates they could have 38 electors due to their 28.6 million population.
That's concerning.
Personally, I'd rather see Alberta. However, it's a fairly good idea....
52nd state. Greenland comes in 51st.
Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, and parts of Canada. But, does Cuba have any natural resources to exploit?
That Cuban coffee tho... You can see into the future!
... and cigars
bacardi started making rum in cuba.....
That 151 is no joke...
