I don’t agree with it. If the Dems are so for it then there’s a reason. And if the progressives are successful then it’s just another start to preparing that generation for limitations. Start with something small that appears to be safety related to gain acceptance.
And if progressives are so “protective” of kids mental health with limiting social media where are they when they allow kids without parents to “chose” their gender?

One analysis I've heard, I think on the X22 Report, is that with this, people would have to provide ID to use social media and could easily be retaliated or censored for unapproved speech.
Also, it limits the ability of youth to both communicate and access alternate news sources beyond the mainstream channels. If I'm not mistaken, around 16 is when people really start to pay more attention and begin forming their own opinions. It's dangerous for people to think freely beyond what Big Brother wants, after all.
So how are the tranny influencers supposed to targets kids without them being on social media? Do they plan teachers to do this part?

It's not really a ban on kids under 16. It's an internet registration scheme. They will want every person in the world who goes online to register to "prove" they are over 16 so that they can filter inappropriate content.
They don't give a shit about kids. But they highly desire to monitor every single person's online use to control you. They want to control your speech.
Say something your government doesn't like. They immediately know who you are. Where you live, where you work, where you've been. They will be able to seize your property. Defund your bank account. Limit your ability to travel. Even take away your ability to buy and sell. And they will be able to do it with AI systems.
To do any of this. First they need to know who you are. This is just another step in the globalist takever of the entire world.
This has nothing to do with the kids at all, they are just using the kids as an excuse to limit or ban us from using social media.
Freedom of speech is first for a reason. The ability to say no is the reason for the second.
How about the gubmint simply strongly recommending that parents forbid their children from engaging in social media?

If you aren't logged into an app that doesn't require an account to browse, it will give you generic content that is mostly not child friendly. Youtube and Reddit are good examples of this.

We don't let children under 16 drive automobiles, either. Or own firearms.
The place for children is to learn from their elders the knowledge, history, science, and morals of their society. That's their purpose in gaining an education. Social media is nothing but mental candy, a great temptation to distraction and curiosity. They are not mentally equipped with the self-control needed to avoid serious psychological dependency. Plenty of bad news about youngsters sinking into themselves, shunning real-world relationships, and becoming engrossed in fantasy.
They need to study, exercise, read, and write. There are plenty of news publications to learn about world events (actual paper issues). There are libraries. If they have an appetite for it, they can join a debate team in high school. Or a math club. Or sports. Or music. Or take up woodworking or home repair. Or horticulture. Things that connect them with unforgiving reality, and other human beings. The last thing they need is a love affair with an AI phantom that does the emotional counterpart of kissing them and inflating their ego.
Everything you said should be what every adult should strive for as well. Social media needs to go, no one needs it.
I agree, but I would not be so exclusive of social media for adults. For reasons of a long story, I am homebound and social media is a way for me to engage in conversation over matters that require me to keep my wits sharp. And to learn about current events faster and more effectively than burrowing through media. It is also pleasant to "meet" certain recurrent individuals. There are pitfalls and wastes of time, of course, so it is also a challenge to maintain an "external" perspective.
Dems are trying to enact sharia via think of the children mentality. This all lines up.
I am getting without following any of these sorts of pages hundreds of posts from monetized Facebook influenster saying things like women shouldn't wear bikinis or girls shouldn't wear shorts or sundresses are tools of the devil It's also a bit of class division and both misogyny and misandry at once.

Keep kids and teens off the internet...they don't find out things like conservatism or anything outside the mainstream
