After the jury made its recommendations, Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis expressed disappointment that Cruz was not sentenced to death.

“I think that if you have a death penalty at all, that that is a case where you’re massacring those students with pre-meditation and utter disregard for basic humanity, that you deserve the death penalty,” DeSantis said.

Authorities found a box with loaded firearms on a school campus in Parkland, Florida, this week less than three miles from the location of the 2018 mass shooting.

The guns were found Thursday at Somerset Academy by a Broward Sheriff’s Office school resource officer, who then passed the discovery over to investigators, WSVN reported. The incident took place near Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School, where a mass shooting in 2018 left 17 people dead and injured 17 others.

Following an investigation,the guns were determined to belong to the school’s principal, Geyler Castro,officials said. It was not immediately clear why the administrator brought the weapons to the school.

The school did not issue an alert or notify the parents about the incident until 24 hours later, according to the report.

Didn't the same thing happen where cops could of helped and didn't. We were called crazy for pointing this out when it occurred, but this time, the same thing happens in Texas and all left wing outlets are pushing the story HARD about the law enforcement not helping during a 40 min "massacre". I thought it was odd that during Parkland they suppressed the "Coward from Broward" story and this time they are amplifying it. I'm only seeing this as a sloppy distraction to keep eyes off the Sussman trial because it's getting us one step closer to FISA prosecutions which is in my opinion step 1 of the great awakening.
