This is flat out wrong.... NFTs are absolutely crypto, they are 'things' that exist in the Blockchain.
NFTs are basically the proof of ownership... Sure you can print an NFT (if it's art, not all NFTs are art or photos) but I could likewise print a Bitcoin and it would have the exact same meaning.
Bitcoin works because there will only ever be 21 million ever mined, and it's decentralized and therefore not beholden to government manipulation. Governments can own as much as they want, but they can't decide to make more bitcoins.
Eventually central banks will make crypto based currencies.. China has already been working on a digital yuan, and I'm sure a digital US dollar is probably also in the work (not Tether, or anybody the other stablecoins out there)

Not at all. The standards for a civil verdict are way different than criminal and on one hand you have the argument that media's defamation of Kyle directly or indirectly led to his charging, indictment, and mistrial (assuming it goes to mistrial... jury still might even come back not-guilty).

Bitcoin is the best currency we have and solves a LOT of the problems we have with our current financial systems.
If you wanna get down to it, Ethereum (Ether) is better suited to currency whereas Bitcoin is digital gold.

You're missing one very important aspect of the hardware wallet: transactions are signed on the device and not on the computer/endpoint like a software wallet.
Your private keys never get touched, written, displayed, put on RAM/disk, etc with a hardware device.
Also, Metamask which is a popular extension for use with DeFi has the ability to integrate with hardware wallets so you get the best of both worlds.
Hardware wallets are not for 'novices' as you suggest, they are for people who are truly serious about their security.
