The whole movie is about the IC (CIA, NSA, FBI??) are trying to kill Americans in order to protect the IC from scrutiny concerning operations that are "morally indefensible and absolutely necessary". They are ruthless and lawless. This is how it is today. Watch the movie to get a glimpse into the mindset of the IC that Trump is facing. It is truly frightening.
