I agree with you that the churches have pretty much followed right behind the world incorporating the songs that don't tell the old, old story of Jesus and His sacrifice for mankind. And the watered-down versions of "God's Word which do in fact change the meaning of verses by switching out words and entire phrases. As one of the twelve disciples, Peter was to help the new church as established in the Book of Acts to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Who came to seek and to save lost sinners. We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works of baptism or church membership or keeping of rituals. We never needed a pope to interpret the Scriptures for us. We have needed local church pastors to lead the flock and teach the Scriptures as written. There are specific verses that teach the qualifications and duties of the local pastors.

Peter was not the first pope. The Bible says nothing like that. You are repeating what you have been taught through catholicism. Peter was a disciple who followed Jesus' teachings, and according to the Scriptures, Peter was married. Why would a church be built on a mere man. It is built upon the Rock Jesus Christ who was and is and always will be the Only Begotten Son of the Holy God. The foundation for our faith is built upon the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Peter was not a pope. He was a disciple and those Words of Jesus were stating that the Church was to be built upon the Rock Jesus Christ, not upon Peter. The Catholic Church came about years later and was not authorized by Jesus. The church referenced here are those who have trusted in Jesus as their personal Saviour.

The KJV is the best. It was translated from the best manuscripts. You can get an electronic Bible that reads the Scripture to you and you can follow along. The two versions you mentioned in my opinion are not good because they leave out verses and some complete chapters. And they substitute words that completely change the meaning to the verse. If you stumble on understanding the meaning of words in KJV, a good dictionary and Strong's Concordance are handy tools to have. God bless you as you read His Word.

It isn't the people but the stooges that get put in office mostly by stolen elections. Parents get your children out of any government run schools. Homeschool if you can, set up co ops for getting together on a regular basis for extra curricula activities. Your children's lives are at stake here. With this continued mandatory junk being taught, they will become what you don't ever want them to be, and suicide is a possibility you won't want them to have to face. Our children need us to use our God given common sense and help them live to their potential of greatness. It might be at a cost to you monetarily and inconvenience, but you can not put a price on your children's lives. If you can't homeschool, consider moving to a state where that brainwashing is not pushed upon innocent children in schools. That is my opinion.

I can't say I really understand it, but there are still ways to get these no-show workers. Non- existent workers, and lazy salary collectors off the payroll. I would like that website because my husband suffers from parkinsons. He was not in Vietnam but i believe his parkinsons is because of all the shots and vaxes he had to have in the military. I am curious to find if others in the military during that time have PD or other neurological diseases. They were just all lined up and given the shots in both arms regardless of where they would be sent. I gave 2 brother-in-laws that were in Vietnam. One passed away 8 years ago from lung cancer. The other one has had skin cancer, heart disease, and nerve disease where his nerve endings die off. Both of them had received money from military for agent orange damage because it had already been proven to be the cause for these ailments. It seems so stupid to me that we elected the GOAT President, and now we can't accept his judgement on who to pick for his cabinet. We only know bits and pieces about these candidates and what has been put out in the news or written about them. I heard she was asking for more donations like up to a hundred million to do a recount. I don't think that's a possibility having conceded, but there are probably some stooges out there who would donate because they hate President Trump so much. She is already 20 million in debt, so somebody doesn't know how to handle money very well. She is done and should just give up and go back to CA. If people would just check things out for themselves, they would see that tariffs were used many years ago and it worked great. President Trump will not implement anything that will harm the people of this country he loves and gave up so much to make it greater than ever. He used tariffs last time, and we had a better economy. I am sorry that some have chosen to judge your reasoning rather than to give you help that you asked for. Please watch the video that someone posted on this site a short time ago. It is our President Trump talking about bringing the Bible back to America which we so desperately need. I don't know of any other President to speak about God and His Word like he did in this video. Imo it shows the great heart of a very great President.

Please look up the story of President Trump's mother's Bible. It is a great background story of the man who was to become 45th president. I believe it has all been covered in the responses here that we are all flawed Christians and none of us deserve God's Amazing Grace. Perhaps President Trump is not as outspoken about his faith because he is in the limelight so much, but the book of James tells us "show ne your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works." We are not to judge a man's heart as to whether or not they are saved, but we can judge his life by the good things he has done. If one is unsure of President Trump's faith, then pray that he will be enlightened to know God's eternal plan of salvation. Remember but for the grace of God as those who have trusted in His completed work on the cross, where would we be?
