The first three words, 'A medical substance' to me is misleading. My old man was a PhD Chemical Engineer and worked in the pulp and paper industry. I put 1.0 mL into a small glass of OJ and drink it quickly. Friends and family might think you are smuggling garlic cloves in your cheeks, but the smell wears off after 10-12 hours if you drink a lot of water.
After about 2 weeks of off and on treatment (my wife doesn't like when I use it), my tinnitus has changed from a constant high pitched hisssss to a quieter high pitched warble.
Bonus:
I have a large (85 lb) 12 year old dog that has had arthritis in the hips for about a year now. He can't do the stairs anymore so I have to carry him up and down.
I've been putting 0.25 mL in his water every day and he's able to get up off the floor easier and actually went down the first 4 steps of our staircase today before I grabbed him in case he stumbled and fell. He's more eager to hop up and down the 2-3 steps we have in and out of the house now also.

I suggest you start with the roll on. It can feel like it's burning your skin and leave a red irritated area for a few hours.
Orally doesn't burn as long as you drink it mixed with something. You will likely have an odor (eggs / garlic) that others can smell after taking it.

I don't know what amounts you tried before, but I'm 170 Lbs and dose with 1.0 mL. Some people use more.

Heard about it in 1980 or thereabouts.
My dad used it when I was a kid back around late 60's. He got the cheap stuff and smelled bad like garlic. Be sure and get the medical grade.
