BIL's wife is that way. Was depressed when she found out she was having a girl. When the baby was born and growing up, she was not given girl toys (dolls, barbies, playhouse, pretend kitchen set, etc). She was only given gender neutral toys.

If extended family would give her a doll or a toy dishes set, it would soon go missing or accidentally break and be thrown out.

BIL's wife doesn't even refer to her by name, she is known simply as "kid" - even in Christmas cards.

BIL's wife thought it was cute if she ignored the "kid" if the kid did not call her "mommy". (Mommie Dearest, anyone?)

The girl has grown up to produce art that would fit right in with the podesta collection.

I am waiting for the LGBTQ announcement.

Wait a minute.

Unless I am mistaken, threatening someone and creating fear is a punishable offense. Right?

Target's forensic science unit is top notch. Seriously bad-assed. PDs will sometimes send Target some of their forensic work, at least they used to do this. High profile cases as well - murder and abductions. Especially in the case of abductions - the first 24 hours are critical, so, all hands on deck. Target would drop all other work to help. Target would do this work as a way of giving back to the community.

My point here is that Target has the capabilies to easily build a case against the perpetrators. The perpetrators should be held accountable for their actions and prosecuted.

We are a nation of laws. IF this happened, and I question that it did, it should prosecuted. Clutching your lady parts and hyperventilating about terrorism is not the way to handle this.

Who says they have to "do" anything?

Marketing 101 Customers are fickle. Brand loyalty is like gold.

For me, Home Depot and Menards are local. Lowes is not. I have "heard" that Lowes caters to women who don't know how to do stuff. True? IDK. But, that doesn't sound like a place for me. My "impression" is that it is going to be cheap and plasticy.

Now, in all fairness to Lowes, I should verify this info, but, is it going to make a material difference? No, it won't. I will still shop locally at Menards and Home Depot. So, I won't bother. I might be totally wrong. I can live with that.

See, fickle reasoning. Menards and Home Depot just happen to be close AND I have had many good experiences there.

Lowes has to overcome my negative impressions of them and get me to not shop local in order for me to shop at their store.

Not sure why you are being down voted. Unless you are making fun of me and I just don't get the joke.

I had first listed the Adult store because I would see it every time on the highway when I went to visit my mom. Son wanted to know what kind of store that was (when he was little). I told him that it is a store we don't shop at. Clear connection to Target - a store we don't shop at.

Later, I thought, wait a minute, there are a bunch of stores I don't go to, so I editted and added these in no particular order. Just stores that I see along the highway, but don't go to either.

I do not care if they change their policies. I do not care if they sell satanic crap OR if they change their policy to stop selling satanic crap. I am not trying to get them to change their behavior.

I am simply not going to shop at Target.

This is the same policy I have for the Adult Pleasures Superstore, Petsmart, Slumberland, Hobby Lobby, Walgreens, Lowe's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bath and Body, and Krogers.

I do not shop at these stores either.

Very true.

I was adding to the fact that you are on camera the entire time.

Dee68 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank goodness they have you and your eyes are open!

So many refuse to see. They take the family (kids and grandchildren) every year!

3
Dee68 3 points ago +3 / -0

My take.

Some refuse to see. Disney is a magical place for them and they want to share it with their grandchildren. They comingle fun times with family with being at Disney.

When they are confronted with the truth about Disney, they defend Disney and respond that you have this all over. Nothing to see here.

Others don't want to go against the narrative. Disney WAS known as family friendly. These people won't change until the widely accepted narrative changes. They won't waken before that or their child gets trafficked by Disney.

Others don't know. They are surface people. They see nothing wrong in the movies and will just laugh and state its ridiculous. These are just cartoons. They they will proceed to tell you their favorite ones - yes, this was a conversation I had with a home schooling mom!

C'mon man, get with the program.

I am going to run some errands. I'm going to have the wagie at the post office mail my package.

Then, I am going to the grocery store where the wagie will ring up my groceries and with any luck have my wagie son who stocks the shelves there bag and carry out my groceries.

Fun times!

Great point. Target's forensic science units are top notch and in all likelihood better than your PD's.

Remember, they can lift your prints off of merchandise you touched. They see you on the camera and grab your prints - they match your prints to the camera image.

Target will often volunteer time to work on PD cases when work is slow. At least they used to do this.

It was a way they could sharpen their skills through practice and experience AND give back to the community.

Very cool.

Why not just put the merch in the wrong part of the store?

The inventory system says that they have X of something, but when they go to the location, there is not X, its less than that.

Make it like a big ol' game of treasure hunt. Get all the departments involved.

Heck, why not hide some of the clothing in shoe boxes? Or behind electronics boxes? Or behind games? Or underneath other hanging clothing in the store? Or wrap it in a towel or put it in bins?

Get creative.

Me? I choose just not to go to Target.

Oh, what an awful spot to be in.

So, in this case, if I understand you correctly, in California, Republicans and Democrats are not kept separated and it is kind of a Battle Royale at the primary level.

And I thought runoff voting was bad...which BTW Minnesota is thinking about switching to because it's been working so well in Alaska (sarc).

🙂 Thanks.

We do caucus in MN for president. I've have not heard of jungle primaries. Sounds like a wild time!🙂

Think of the primary as narrowing the field of candidates for a party. Going into the primary there are for instance 5 candidates all vying to be the democrat nominee. This includes the incumbent, if any.

Democrats have their primary. Republicans have their primary. This election may be on the same day, but as a voter, I can only vote for the republican slate of candidates OR the democrat slate of candidates for the primary, not both (at least thats how it is in my state). Republicans and democrats do not run against each other in the primaries.

The primary election is held. Only one candidate wins the election for their party and is put forward in the election process as that party's nominee.

To be "primaried", you are the incumbent that lost your bid to be a candidate for re-election. This is the main way this term is used.

All other candidates that lost in the primary are referred to as simply having lost not "primaried". Though technically, one could use the term for any candidate that lost in the primary, the impact of the term is generally used for incumbent candidates.

This happened to Liz Cheney as she did not win in the primary election even though she was the incumbent. This was quite the upset when she was primaried because she was an incumbent. Incumbents are tough to beat, but can be primaried and thus do not even appear on the ballot going in to the general election.

Also, please note, even if a candidate loses in the primary, the voters could still vote for that candidate in the general election by write-in. Total long shot to win as the canidate is NOT printed on the ballot.

It is supposed to create this response in any decent, caring, and compassionate human being.

Now, since being awake, my first reaction is, crisis actor?

I have heard this touched on very, very briefly before.

Your description in fact provides more info. Previously I had only heard that we chose to be in this time period.

What is this philosophy/teaching called? I would like to learn more. Thanks.

Thanks. Everything surrounding the vaxx's impact on cognitive function I find highly curious. So many parallels in symptoms between the vaxx and what I experienced with Lyme.

Lyme is believed to be a bio weapon that "escaped" from Plum Island. Though now I believe that the release may have been intentional.

Dee68 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes. I believe you are correct. Brain injury/brain trauma all could induce this. They are symptoms from brain inflammation. I think that it is due to toxins/poison crossing the BBB.

I was diagnosed with Lyme Christmas 2019. The bacteria colonized in my CNS. Hallucinations (audible and visual), memory loss, panic attacks, rage, severe depression, etc.

Ivermectin made a huge difference for me. Now I am just left with crippling fatigue but am slowly getting my stamina back.

The real question is how far back do you need to go on this?

I don't believe that the Bushes 41 and 43 were legitimately elected.

Did Al lose due to "hanging chads"?

Was Obama fairly elected?

Clinton? Bill, not hilldog.

What about Bernie?

I believe this crap has been going on quite awhile.

2020 was blatant and in your face, so I get the immediate idea that 2020 needs to be fixed, but we are fooling ourselves if we think 2020 was the only one. What about 2016? Was this one fair? I like how it turned out and I would like it even more if I knew it was a fair election.

The article mentions that the Right is waging a war on them.

War seems to indicate that we are "locked" in battle together. For me, nothing could be further from the truth. This business has shown the world who they are, now they cease to exist as far as I am concerned.

There is no boycott. There is no battle. There is no war. They are nothing now.

Twenty years ago, it was well known in the twin cities, home to Target Corp, that 1/4 of Target HQ workforce was part of the LGBT community.

And they paid for this "education".

Unless this was a social experiment, say in a psychology course, on the speed of mob mentality taking over rational discourse, these students were "had" by the university into believing that they would be educated.

They could have gotten this education for free via attending a George Floyd protest or a viral out break of FJB while attending a sporting event.
