- You can also have a labor companion or doula to accompany and support you, and to advocate for your wishes. Sometimes they have been trained as nurses so they understand what's going on.
- Are you planning on anesthesia? I didn't have it. It was rough but I didn't want my children born drugged. So I was lucid enough to throw students out of the room when my son was being born.
