the most important thing about homeschooling is to resist all involvement of any government entity. No testing, not lesson plans, no tax rebates or voucher. We do not want any avenue for someone outside the family to dictate what or how we educate. We are homeschooling four, the older two are taking college courses online, clepping for college credit after studying a subject. We do our plan for our kids, I want you to have the freedom to do your plan for your children.
Remember how much repetition was in government school? Most children could pick up info and pass todays standardized tests in two months. If you are blessed with a child that is stronger in other areas, then that is exactly why homeschooling is best. They are each unique, given to the best parents for them. If they can look you in the eye, shake your hand, carry on a conversation, show up clean and on time, they are 90% to be being a productive person. They have you as parent by design, you have your circle of friends by design, all the resources you need to mentor and direct them are either already in your possession or attainable.

I encourage the "Fly on the wall" status a lot....most of these communist plans come from "normal" people. In that I mean, they live among others. They touch some patriot's second or third circle, close enough that patriot can be 100% certain that the "normal" person is a communist enabler/traitor.
This is AWESOME....so many times my wife and I will stop in the middle of chaos and say, what do we WANT to happen. We ask for that, we confess that, we align our words with God's scripture and keep that in the air.

You know, there are a lot of things that are not "illegal" federally, but States have laws that are more restrictive.....kalifornia employees can carry over vacation when people in other states can't. company by company, but state law prevails.
I think kalifornia counties are choosing only from vendors that bow to that county's belief system. I will work at my local level to encourage my county to only buy from or give tax incentives to companies that follow "Freedom of Choice" policies.
