Being admitted with COVID vs for COVID are two very different situations that hospitals will never address.

I definitely think Abbott's support of the Texas bill is in part to combat vaxxers who insist everyone must get it. My body my choice situation - it's funny watching them all flip their lid when told they have to do something they don't want to do (carry the baby) after telling all of us we have to do something and are selfish for not doing said thing.

Travel nursing gigs are paying up to $250/hr and then redeploying those same nurses back to their home hospital. Money is being thrown around in unimaginable ways right now for nurses.

Working in a hospital full of little people in a large city. Volumes are higher than at any point in 2019 (what we compare 2021 to since 2020 was a wash for little people).

We didn’t hire people for almost a year so now we are very short-staffed. Highest volume with lowest staff and everyone is burned out. Will be interesting to see how it goes when the vax deadline approaches and 30% of the staff are gone.

"That agency also investigated the collapse of the Twin Towers on 9/11"

Comforting.

The military wouldn’t let them pick their mask color. And since when do they mix in civilians?

Basically they are saying that redpilling attempts work and they are terrified of that.

Loss of smell, loss of taste, severe headaches lasting longer than the other symptoms, blood clots, multi-system inflammatory syndrome.

Covid is a thing and flu is a thing. They are different. Wearing masks and socially distancing essentially eliminated the flu while covid numbers increased the more we did those things. What they tell us to do for covid doesn’t work which is one way you know there is something fishy.

Source: am a pediatric nurse practitioner who has taken care of covid and flu patients in all my years. I’ve seen more kids die of flu in any given year (except this past year) than covid this past year but that’s not news about kids.

But but the news told me “the majority of Americans” approve of the work he has done.

This is nothing new. I have a close friend who was hired from three states away to do the costuming and makeup for these things almost a decade ago. Although I will say every time they are called the event has some relationship to Georgia which is an odd coincidence.

It’s bizarre. In Dallas, our convention center is now housing up to 3,000 teenagers from the border. The local government is not involved and doesn’t appear to be allowed inside.

You orders have some good barber shop stories. This is what they feared and hoped COVID would prevent!!

Drove by this morning - metal barricades and cones at the front door. Garage completely closed with what looked like gates down. There was a cherry-picker type machine in the front lobby. I didn’t see HVAC vehicles, only a couple pieces of construction equipment with the name of the equipment but not a company name. There was a guard in the guard stand and someone drove into the uncovered lot while I was passing by.

How did I ever think this was part of our actual government? I looked at their website for the first time ever. No federal agency calls themselves “fed” (Dallas Fed) in any formal capacity yet it’s all over their website. The statements about what they do... Has it always been this obvious??

Happy Texas Independence Day!!!! Got my vaccine and I’m ready to tell liberals to TRUST SCIENCE. They will hear me clearly without my mask on.
