Take it from someone in the collision industry, if the cars don’t watch the road, no one will. People do everything except drive when behind the wheel. They can’t go 10 minutes without looking at their phones. Subaru is trying to keep people from crashing, but its how whackos in control will pervert it and use it that is the problem. All this crash mitigation tech hasn’t stopped the crashes, it’s just made it more expensive/difficult to repair. You’ve probably seen this in your premiums. Avg claim severity 6 years ago was about $2600. Now it’s closer to $5000.

My buddies wife is a hygienist. I sparked a conversation on this very topic and she wanted to choke me. We can discuss all sorts of conspiracy but this is her Alamo. I’m going to send him this video but I highly doubt he will share it with her as it will likely lead to him being cut off figuratively and literally.
This is our EXACT story. At the 18 month mark, he got his MMR shot and caught the “measles”. They told us that less than 5% get them. He broke out over his whole body in a strange rash. Stopped talking, walking, eye contact, etc. At 7 now, he is making good progress but his gut issues have limit his diet to cheese, fries, chips, and gummies. We sneak in nutrients where we can. We are trying to find a way to heal his gut so we can get even more results. Like yours, he is a very sweet gentle kid and it could have been much worse.
