Thank you to all who responded to this question. It was so devastating to me that I never stopped to think if any one else felt the same. My mom saved every newspaper for everyday from the shooting to his funeral. I’ve only been able to look at them 2 or 3 times in 60 yrs! It still brings on the tears💦😢

I live 15 miles south of Co Springs, CO. In June 2015 I put a sign in my front window (in an HOA so no OUTSIDE Political signs allowed until 60 days before an election. I didn’t care!) that said “OBAMA OUT IN 160 DAYS!” It was a countdown. Everyday I changed the countdown. These were 8 1/2 x 11 shts of paper I printed. Each letter and # were on one sheet of paper! Every morning I couldn’t wait to take down a number: 160, 159, 158, Etc, Etc. And EVERY SINGLE DAY I had at least 5 people knock on my door and ask if they could take a picture! People in cars would stop and take pictures, they would honk, people would clap as they walked by our house. The night Trump won my husband and I set off fireworks for 1/2 an hour and almost the whole block came out to yell “TRUMP, TRUMP,TRUMP” and we handed out boxes of sparklers we had hoarded since the 4th. Everyone was having the best time. I never saw 1 Hillary sign, not 1 Hillary bumper sticker, t shirt, hat, NOTHING! Just 1 Sanders t shirt on a homeless guy!
Today my daughter (42, me 69) and I went into my Walmart store. Hadn’t washed my hair so threw on my 2016 MAGA hat. Couldn’t believe it but 9 out of 10 people commented “LOVE YOUR HAT!”, “GREAT HAT!”, “GO TRUMP!”, “SHOULD’VE WORN MINE!” and on and on and on!! God, it felt wonderful! If Trump doesn’t win there is no chance in hell the election wasn’t stolen and no FCKN chance for this Country! COLORADO is RED, but Denver and Boulder, our 2 biggest pieces of shit counties ruin it for everyone else. We have NORAD, SPACE FORCE, Schreiver AF Base, Ft. Carson, Cheyenne Mtn., The Air Force Academy and more people in camo and flt suits and buzz cuts, women included but we have a gay Gov., and no plastic bags and a FCKN Starbucks every 100 yards and an election stealing SoS and a trial to keep Trump off the ballot!!!!!
