The precautions the visitors took were over the top, yet the bug still showed up and spread through this untouched island.

Don’t blame the swimmers. Blame whomever administers the pool.

Same situation where I work. And yet, HR is pressuring all employees to either vaccinate or file an “accommodation” (as if someone who has sincere religious objections or reservations about the medical dangers are now put in the same class of employees as disabled, deaf, etc.)

Yes, there is an injunction against mandates for fed contractors that was filed in a Georgia federal court by a federal judge on Dec. 7, 2021. It is currently being contested by the DOJ.

I’m expecting these large corporations to try to impose higher healthcare costs on their unvaccinated employees (if they still even have them).

I got a text from a co-worker today letting me know the USPS site had a form where you enter your name, address, phone and email to receive a set of four Covid tests. So, they probably won’t send them unless you fill out the form at www.usps.gov/Covidtest.

How can we propose a 1-issue, 1-bill rule for Congress and the Senate?

There is no need from a processing efficiency perspective to lump a whole bunch of issues into one bill several pages long that no one has time to read before passing it.

With modern computer processing, it is easier to break them up and process them one item at a time. There would be more transparency, more public deliberation and faster votes (whether pass or fail).

The only reason to keep doing what they’re doing is to hide their real intentions. We, the people need to insist this gets changed!

And I’ll try not to laugh when you keel over at your table and go into a vax coma.

Does this mean that anyone wanting to visit DC as a tourist to go see monuments, etc. must show a vaccine passport? If so, they will take a hit in their tourism revenues. And they would be denying access to a lot of Americans of all ages!
