I believe options trader call them 'units' They might be long on individual stocks as a hedge fund, but then they will buy cheap 25% out of the money puts [units] as an insurance policy in case of a major correction or downturn

Yeah in regards to Krip-toe, I found it very strange that for the past couple of years, Gary Gensler at the SEC has been doing their best to take down the space, then as of this week, now blackrock, fidelity, and lots of other institutions - in one way shape or form - have all decided they want a piece of the krip-toe pie! hmmmmmm
