What are we gauging this off of? I genuinely there’s no change in either party, especially long-term. People are upset about Charlie, the same way people were upset about Floyd - obviously no one is saying they are the same (stating the obvious for the emotional readers), but I don’t see this causing any major shift for either party.
Actually the defense will be that the President “convicted him” before trial. I wish he used the word alleged or suspect, if the libs bankroll a decent lawyer - they’ll have an easy argument saying they can’t get a fair trial.
