She's a true NPC at this stage though. At the beginning I tried to warn her and she ended up asking my wife (whom she never speaks to) to ask me to stop as it was 'scaring' her, so yes she took the jabs.

It is possible (for higher functioning autists) to retrain their brain to compensate for some of the missing bits if they work at it, at least to ameliorate some of the effects.

Think of it like a blind person's brain devoting more brain power to the hearing function etc.
