AFAIK they haven't engaged in violence. As of now they mostly just do banner drops and post flyers around different places while networking with valuable individuals.

In order to shift the overton window you have to first get people to at least discuss the things you want them to focus on. You don't need to get everybody on your side immediately, but you can't ever hope to sway people if they're not even aware of the problems. The reason this feels like it's taking so long is because it's been a process to simply make people aware of what's going on in the first place. It's tedious and unsexy but it's a necessary part of the process. Water cooler walk is a great way of putting it.

IMO America as it once was can potentially be preserved in pockets here and there but preserving the entire union and returning to the founding spirit of the country is impossible. I'm sorry to say but I don't think we'll ever be breaking bread with NY and California in the future unless we compromise our own values. Short of a complete miracle and the vast majority turning back to God in a sincere way I'm not sure it's realistic to expect that we can keep the country wholly intact. If you want to use the Romans as an analogue then look at how the empire split up into a bunch of different kingdoms/principalities.

There's no reason why the same thing couldn't just happen again as it did with Nixon taking us off the gold standard in 71. Who's to say 20 years from now long after Trump's gone that someone doesn't just come along and go "whoops we're no longer backing our Fedcoin with gold to protect the economy!". Then we'd just be stuck with a shit CBDC ripe for exploitation and abuse.
