The digital ID and currency isn't reliant on a network. The designs in Canada seem to include some sort of device that allows offline 1 to 1 transactions. I would assume the network just gets updated later when connectivity is available.
I don’t see how that’s possible. Offline transactions are susceptible to double spend attacks and other fraudulent transactions.
Yeah I'm not sure, but did a survey online about, obviously expressed displeasure, but in the survey there was information including a graphic that appeared to be some sort of card, beaming info to another card while it was talking about transferring money while the network was unavailable.

Interesting, thanks for the link. So essentially it acts like a “promissory” note, and it still requires an internet connection to confirm the transaction. Importantly, you can’t spend the money you gained offline until you reconnect.
Seems like it could work but I would still expect hackers to take advantage of it - which is great because the quicker we break the trust of this CBDC sysyem, the more people will seek alternative methods.
This is very simple to fix. If enough people rise up and say no it breaks their system. They have no idea the power we have together. Never, never give in to the mark of the beast system.

My thoughts: if a true cbdc rollout happens then it likely means that there is no white hat plan. You don’t let the enemy roll out a new currency only to adapt to it or bring out a second new currency if you have a strong plan in place? Not trying to doom but if it really happens I will be immediately on red alarm bells with sirens that there is nothing coming to save us.
I really don’t know what about a CBDC rollout would mean there’s no plan. What if they determined they need a CBDC in place to implement the gold standard the way they need to? Just for an example off the top of my head.
If the WH plan includes a CBDC I couldn't care less if it's backed by gold or not, I'm not interested.

There's no reason why the same thing couldn't just happen again as it did with Nixon taking us off the gold standard in 71. Who's to say 20 years from now long after Trump's gone that someone doesn't just come along and go "whoops we're no longer backing our Fedcoin with gold to protect the economy!". Then we'd just be stuck with a shit CBDC ripe for exploitation and abuse.

Can confirm. This is exactly how it went down in Latvia a little over a decade ago when we switched. I think the grace period for using the former LAT was appx two yrs, and even after full transition you could still use LATs in a few places e.g. microbus transit, vending and some kiosks, etc. But now, a dozen odd yrs later, the old currency is only good for one thing: the finest outhouse wallpaper you can imagine!

not really sure man. i dont have a crystal ball or anything so i cant accurately predict the future or anything, but this is the US govt we're talking about here; since when does rule of law apply?
i realize the states have the right to operate independently, but imho, when they do roll out CBDCs, they will eventually cave due to peer pressure from other states, the feds, or they will get their pockets greased and kowtow like usual.
i would say hedge into precious metals and work towards a parallel economy, but we are going to get swallowed up into this whether we want it or not. its a matter of how DEEP into do you wish to dip your feet? you can participate in it or not, but they will still have all your information and be building an ESG score on you whether you participate or not.

normally i'd agree with you, but at several points in the thread, OP mentions that all hope is not lost, and that this can be mitigated and/or defeated. thats why i dont believe it is a demoralization campaign.
never once does OP say to essentially "give up" or "Accept" their fate. in fact on the contrary, OP seems genuine in their attempt to raise awareness to what may be on the event horizon.
I would agree that it is possible this person is genuine. If so, all the better because we would be getting the straight goods on their current plans. The only reason I could believe this person is genuine is that to have this information they would need to be deep in that world, which probably means pretty detached from "Main Street America". Being surrounded by these people constantly and seeing their level of total confidence would be overwhelming to say the least. I can see how someone immersed in that world would see the situation being that dire.
thats exactly the perspective i approached this with. i'm not oblivious to the disinformation campaigns, false flags, and controlled opposition of the past ~5y or so, far from it.
i've also lived in the bay area for the last 8y now. i'm a conservative in the belly of the beast, and i can definitely tell when i'm being fed a steady diet of bullshit because i've lived in other parts of the country that weren't so "woke". it allows me to view this bubble with an objective eye.
i've never stopped questioning things, and i think it is that inquisitiveness and general skepticism that has prevented me from taking the vax (or allowing my family to take it either), tell everyone (that cares to listen) to vote Trump, and to turn off cable news/MSM and take in a healthy diet of alternative media.
i think hearing/seeing a variety of viewpoints (even if they seem a bit "out there" is the best way to keep your bullshit meter calibrated in this crazy world where we cant even seem to agree on the difference between a girl and a boy.

I believe this could be a very real plan that the WEF will attempt to enact. What they fail to consider is the vast majority of the population that ONE: would reject this in principle; TWO: Those that need a cash/barter payment system to execute exchange for “goods/services” (drugs/escorts for example). Everyone knows their plans, this isn't news. What this looks like to me is yet another disinformation agent posing as an insider, trying to seed apathy and defeatism. They hook you by telling you things you already suspected would happen, so it feels like they have inside info at first but in reality any of us could put together this LARP from what we know. Could the collapse happen within the timeframe they mentioned? It very well might, but the ONLY thing that could allow them to succeed is for us collectively, the majority, to believe posts like this gaslighting us into thinking we're a fringe minority. That's been our biggest weakness this entire time. Believing you're part of a small minority of people who are smarter and more informed is a big ego trip, and that's why they have such an easy time convincing us we're so alone and isolated. We were far more isolated five or ten years ago but that's over and we need to get out of that mindset. Sure most of us on GA are far deeper down the rabbit hole than most, but most are further down it than we were in the past. It's about time we start acting like it. That ego angle is rarely brought up, it isn't comfortable to talk about, but it holds us back and needs to be addressed.
