Yep, can confirm. By the time I was briefly involved with the LP a couple of decades ago, it was clear pretty quickly that they'd been co-opted by the RINOs (at least in the state where I was living).

It was kinda weird, actually. After I contacted them for local info, but before I even attended my first meeting, a party bigwig (a college prof who held some non-teaching role) drove four hours across the state to take me, a total stranger to lunch. It felt really sus, but I couldn't quite make out his intent.

I definitely noticed right off the bat, though, a goodly dose of what you might call "repressive tolerance." Like he was already trying to make sure that this newbie didn't really mean that the party should work for actual liberty.

Yikes. Guess I have been out of the loop -- totally missed that. Thanks, fren!

Just curious, I know it's been going on for a bit, but when did PDJT start referring to FJB as Crooked Joe?

Seems odd, because he used to use Crooked as his nickname for Killary. Or is there a hint here?

And how can a defendant prepare and put up a case against a predicate crime if none is specified in the indictment or even during the damn trial?

Of course, this is exactly the intent of Bragg, Eisen, and their Lawfare cabal.

I bet that Merchan gave the jury this weekend off so that the "beach friends" can have time to meet up and continue their evil plotting against PDJT.

Sad! (channeling PDJT here!)

I guess it depends on circumstances to a degree. When I was a sprout, we had a weekly class period in the school library and I checked out books all the time, learned to take notes on index cards when doing research, etc.

Not so common nowadays.

Wouldn't it be freaking amazing if one of his NYC trial jurors just happened to be in the rally crowd? :~O

Kek! I doubt you'll find much peace cruising the highways around D.C.

Does GA.win have a private message functionality? Don't want to clog up this thread, but am happy to help. One thing I'd recommend is traveling there in October through mid-November, when crowds are smaller but weather is generally good.

Amazing. What a fine young man. Nice to see this kind of heartfelt gesture make the news.

Just found the article on Just The News (https://justthenews.com/accountability/political-ethics/feds-knew-2016-hunter-connected-his-chinese-business-partner-his)

Unbelievable.

The previously nonpublic communications were among 3.3 million pages of emails, bank records, and corporate memos that FBI, IRS, and Securities and Exchange Commission agents collected in 2015 and 2016 with subpoenas during a criminal investigation into a fraudulent bond scheme involving a Native-American tribe.

The younger Biden wasn't charged in that case, though several of his business partners were. But agents in that probe did gain extensive access to Hunter Biden's bank files, corporate records, and communications, including some that were not located on the first son's now infamous laptop that would be seized by the FBI in 2019 and become a subject of political controversy a year later.

I completely understand. Sometimes we just need to put the dark, or confusing, or ugly stuff outside of us before we can let go and move forward.

That said, of course, the Bible does exhort us to love our neighbors as ourselves -- which means (to me anyway) that a humble, honest sort of self-love, or maybe self-care, is indeed what we are asked to bring to ourselves and to others.

Maybe lovingkindness (isn't that a Buddhist concept?) would be a better term for it.

But yes, in the end, delivering on what we say we'll do is very meaningful, and rewarding in its own way. Well done to you!

Top kek! ;~) Yes, that's a great way to put it.

In this case, the "Grinch" will have a cabal of cronies in the capital! And the Whos will find some unexpected support in high places as well.

Actually I used to give tours there and elsewhere. :~) So message me if you're thinking about going. It's been quite awhile, but I'd be happy to offer some general tips and tricks.
