The wildest thing about this is not so much what Swalwell did, it's the decisiveness with which the evidence was brought out, distributed, and reinforced.
There wasn't the smallest bump of resistance. EVERYONE had to be in on it. Fellow representatives. Staff. Media. Podcasters. Influencers. Compare the hell that Biden & Clinton's accusers went through to the red carpet Swalwell's are.
It's hard to imagine they don't have similar dirt on every rep.

TBH as long as this is a knee jerk reaction that continues, it's a good one.
Trump's trust on Iran has been earned over a decade of kinetic activity. It is unique. I would be happy to see war powers act revised for future POTUSes. Congress needs to emerge as a meaningful and functional pillar in our government.
We see the same thing w/Epstein: yeah the left is clearly misreading the situation and is angry at the wrong guy, but they're angry about the right thing, which is huge progress for them.
I say give them space to be angry. They're starting from a point most of us were at five years ago or even longer. Help their research along when possible. Compare historical use of same actions--Trump almost always mirrors his actions with a historical precedent that reveals the hypocrisy of his critics.
