It would also make sense thematically to have Kamala play the bitter incumbent that denies the election result--especially if she continues to be "up in the polls" as she is now.
The white hat ops always put people's minds in a state of extreme logical conflict that forces them to think for themselves. So making liberals doubt and then protest the result seems like where we'll end up.

The very act of separating demonstrators is preventing us from entering discussions. The barricades, overt police presence, riot gear, etc. is designed to turn the public square into a combat zone.

Seems young for a councilman, but local politics can be chaotic. In my city the mayor usually strongarms some friendly faces in and it ends up being a supplicant position. Very few people follow city politics.
Guess the big question is whether he was arrested for doing something good, or for doing something bad w/out the DoJ's approval..
If chaos can be implemented in the blame game over COVID, nobody will ever have to pay a dime in compensation and nobody will ever go to jail.
