Sheriffs are the ONLY law enforcement that can override anyone in the state, to include Governors, Representative, Senators, etc. Sheriffs are elected by We the People, not hired like regular city or state police.

We do. History has shown Americans will fight but as an absolute last resort. When that happens, we tend to kick much ass and with extreme prejudice.

Unfortunately for many, they are stuck in the childish "I WANT IT RIGHT NOW" mindset instead of thinking, processing, and analyzing what has been and is being done. They cannot see the forest for the trees, in other words. Granted, it's frustrating at times even for me, but I've been at this since 1990. I've learned a bit of patience the hard way.
