Depends on your view of the Church of LDS. Entire state is highly influenced by them, but especially SLC and Provo.

The non-Mormon nickname for BYU is "Breed'em Young University"

The "new" winner, Lynette Burnette, had no campaign website, opt'ed out of candidate polling, did not put up signs, and did not include contact information on her qualifying paperwork. It appears many of the residents don't even know who she is.

Per a twitter sleuth, she is a sister to Thomas Huff. The Huff family is in the aviation business at the local airport, and also has ties with Gov. Kemp and "He Who Did Not Hang Himself" Interdasting...

You would be hard pressed to convince me that Fetterman cares whether he's being used, or not. Regardless of his mental cognizance.

In one of the "You're Fired!" emails it says something about being paid until February. Don't know if all terminated twatters had this deal based on one email, but it's not above reason to assume most did.

This is all sus...

Per federal labor laws, you cannot be compelled (forced) to work more than 40 hours per week. Unless you are hired as a salaried employee, which comes with its own set of rules as to who qualifies as such. Either way, if you are salaried and required to work longer hours, or a wage slave and volunteer to work, they MUST pay you overtime.

And if you are a California resident, the state laws are even more in your favor.

I know this because I initiated and subsequently won a class action suit against a former employer for these violations.

I remember hearing a lot of these when I was a kid in the 70's. Didn't believe it then either. I blame it on the "useful idiots" and their abuse of lysergic acid diethylamide in the 60's.

Did anyone read the article?! It's not from a lack of water, it's the water plant that is going kaput.

On Tuesday, an incident command center will be set up and state employees will go into the O.B. Curtis Water Treatment Plant to try to restore it to full operation. The plant has been operating at partial capacity for a number of days, Reeves said. For more than a month, the city has been under a state health department-issued boil water notice, but on Monday because of the problems with the plant much of Jackson lost water pressure.

Absolutely. Wife's childhood friend went to "therapy" and afterwards decided that he was a woman now and has, as far as I know, gone through the whole "she"-bang, to include thoughts of suicide. Dude had a wife and kids, and his own lucrative IT business, which he pissed away.

Fun Fact: What you're describing as Pure Democracy is actually an Oligarchy or Plutocracy. Direct and Pure Democracy are the came thing.

Yep. Been here (CO) since the mid '90s and have seen this as well. It was a solid red state, but kept going blue, although the change of the voting public didn't support it.

I'd rather see our tax dollars blown here, even on some frivolous project, than given to some foreign entity.

My wife is from Long Island and she has said they called it the same, but apparently, it was because of the girls that worked there!

Well, if you recall what LBJ said about American blacks, it could be an unconscious designed outcome.

Stop fear mongering! There is no way this "treaty" would be constitutional. The executive branch can't universally circumvent our constitution all by themselves.

Think about it. How would the WHO enforce this? Bring in UN troops? Use martial law against us? How well would that go over?

The globalists have already tried something like this with agenda 21. How's that working for them?

Yes, stay vigilant, for if some bill like this were to make it way through congress, that would be a much bigger threat. But this "treaty", in my opinion, just won't fly.
