It's a great opinion piece - good for the NYT to have published it, but of course, this is not going to change anything among its readers. However, it might help them understand why Trump supporters think as they do. Maybe just a bit.

It is! And this one is great!

What is he referring to when he tweets this?

He’s the the guy whose joke you laughed at that at a party, and who never stopped cracking jokes all night long - a bore but you were forced to laugh. He should stop. One is good enough.

LT’s back to analyzing Q-drops? Used to love listening to him but stopped when he ceased to analyse drops. Will listen to this episode, if I can find a link that’s not Rumble (no Rumble allowed in France for the time being anymore).

Now those headlines are exciting to read. It does show that Trump is still a threat to them. It’s going to be an interesting two years.

I understand what you’re saying regarding the things you did but none of them are related to Trump per se, except for the vaccine. They’re related to the fact that you wanted to tell the truth, and lost friends in the process.

Yeah yeah yeah. Too easy, much too easy. We’ll need to find something else as an argument eventually.

Can someone post the original retruth, please? Otherwise, it’s all about « somebody said ».

« Overnight »? You were here during his 4 years in office, right? Nothing was done overnight and nothing was done without hurdles.

A very late awakening for me. It was the stealing of the 2020 election. I’m from France but have studied English literature and history for all of my student years. So, of course, I was very much interested in the 2020 election when they happened. So, for me, Pennsylvania flipping to Biden was weird, then I started following the news everyday, discovered PW, then (and still) TheDonald, and that was when I woke up.

However, I was also aware of the major « conspiracy theories » out there and believed them without having ever really delved into them. Still, the awakening was something else.

Sure, we know that but I think they’ll never admit it.

Her comment on her son’s myocarditis was the following:

« My son has myocarditis following the vaccine, he practices sport at a very intensive level and this affects the way he plays. If, even I, despite of this, understand that getting vaccinated is not about the individual but the greater good of our fellow citizens, then how can others be so selfish and not do it? »

The explanation is twisted for sure, but I think it’s their way of protecting themselves, from not holding a grudge against themselves for not having listened to the many people warning them of the risks.

Still strange though, she should have become a spokesperson against mandatory vaccines for youngsters, at least.

2 deaths:

  • Husband’s cousin: 50-year-old; fell into a coma one day after vaccine and died 4 days afterwards. Doctors said it was acute leukemia.

  • Husband’s uncle: one week after vaccine. He was more than 80 years old so could’ve been old age as well.

1 myocarditis:

  • Colleague’s 14-year-old son. She linked it to the vaccine herself but does NOT regret her choice.

2 strokes:

  • Neighbour had two strokes one month apart a few weeks after vaccine.

2 cases of pancreatic cancer

  • 45-year-old friend had cancer after vaccine but was supposed to have gotten better as the surgeons had taken out the infected spleen. Thought she was cured. Fourth booster and cancer came back on again. Doctors have just stopped chemo.

  • Above friend’s next door neighbour had the same cancer as her, at the same time.

1 cancer

  • 50-year-old, friend of my husband’s family was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Has a few months to live.

I don’t know whether this is related to vaccines or not, some might and some might not. However, this is a factual account of the many health problems I’ve seen since November 2021.

But then, that is Trump being Trump, right. I have no idea what the general consensus is when it comes to Queen Elizabeth. What I do know, is that I find myself being quite contradictory when I speak about her. If I criticize her, I’m criticizing traditions and when I speak for her, it’s no different than glorifying an elite which has no care in the world for the average guy.

Trump has always written very respectfully about Queen Elizabeth. I’m sure his post is going to be as usual, that is, respectful and courteous.
