I definitely feel that. Definitely not as bad out here as I've read it is over there so I count myself as grateful. It's the neighbours and family members harassing over the masks and vaccines that's the only real mindfuck for us. Hope you're well in the east, fren! Stay positive. =)
Can't speak for the rest of Canada but BC just lifted it's mask regulations TODAY. My local town Facebook group is ALL pissed off about the First Nations mass graves of children and refusing to celebrate but there was a parade today and tons of people were there wearing red and white so I guess the vote is split on that; quite minority and whatnot. No fireworks or fair. There's a "virtual celebration" online featuring some music and shit. Not much else. People still wearing masks outside and indoors despite the mandate being lifted. -le shrug-
Yeah it's been a rough time up here but we're through the worst of the heat. It's only 23 today. A town called Lytton burned to the ground last night, however. Wildfires are taking off now that everything's dried out.
Aww, this was a sad story. I hope it's just that she's 22 and finding herself, discovering what she likes and doesn't like and "circles back" to rediscover her love of singing one day in the future. If not, I bet she finds something else that you'll love seeing her do that brings her unfathomable joy. Best wishes, fren!
If the calm before the storm comment was 2017, I'd argue the storm began mid 2019/early 2020 with the riots and Covid, and that we're still in it/on our way out.
Not that I wanna argue, I hear tell I'm supposed to be enjoying the show.
The record company will just use the copyright to take the ad revenue from the video in most cases. It would have to be drawing a lot of attention for the record company to go in manually and select the option to have the video removed. Usually the only people doing that are smaller creators who are mad their videos are being used in compilation channels. You could mute the section in the video with the music if you want your ad revenue and want to make absolutely sure you don't get a copyright strike, but it really shouldn't be an issue. Besides, copyright strikes expire after 3 months so as long as you don't do it too often you're good lol
