There is no road in the bottom right corner forming the triangle, Without this there is no pattern, just a standard mountain road with switchbacks

He won a seat in House of Commons. He had previously tried but failed to get elected at a national level. His new party got 5 seats in the house (of 650 available) in this election with a national wide 14% of the vote. The First past of post system used in the UK makes it very difficult for new parties to even get in the door. As Nigel has stated this election was about getting a beachhead and building support for the 2029 election.

He is famous for been an anti-european union MP within the EU parliament (where PR makes it easier to get in), calliing for Brexit and basically forcing a vote within the UK.

Labour won with lowest percentage of the popular vote ever to form a government. The general public no longer wanted the Conservatives due to failing to be conservatives and doing the opposite of everything elected to do.

In the non British areas they elected their own and this is only increase as more areas shift towards this demographic.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9e9ydj215yo

Labour has lost a handful of former strongholds to independent candidates campaigning on pro-Gaza platforms. The party's vote is down on average by 23 points in seats where 20% or more of the population identify as Muslim. Labour has lost five seats with large Muslim populations - four to independents and one to the Conservatives.

New party is basically the same, but will move faster for the WEF. More immigration, more hate speech laws, more trans / race / divide, more restricting on car ownership, faster net zero and higher taxes,

Once the pendulum swings enough FPTP can be a useful thing, however breaking through as new party is extremely difficult.

The alternative is PR, but look at Geert Wilders and the Dutch, while winning the largest number of seats, the other parties (left & center) refused to form a coalition with Geert (right wing). In a FPTP Geert would have a clear majority and power to implement their policy's.

The USA has it's system to try and limit the issues with majority win of democracy, FPTP is UK's attempt.

The UK system does need a change, the House of Lords no longer acts a checks & balance to the House of Commons, due to changed introduced under Labour when Blair was in power. I fully expect more government to be handled to international bodies that changes the constitution.

On the bright side, Labour only got 36% of the vote, which is only a small increase on their 32% when they lost massively in 2019. A few percentage either way in FPTP can huge impacts.

Number were examples, here the results from the 1st called seat:

Sunderland South Results:
LAB: 18,847 (47%)
REF: 11,668 (29%)
CON: 5,514 (14%)
LDM: 2,290 (6%)
GRN: 1,723 (4%)

The system in the UK means that you need to win to get a seat, coming 2nd gets doesn't get a MP in the House

There are 650 seats or area across the UK, traditionally seats are fought between 2 of the 3 major parties.

You're measuring 2 different things, Percentage of popular vote vs number of seats.

The UK has a First Pass the Post system and most area would have previously the 3 main parties, now with reform most seats are been fought between 4 parties.

The first pass the post system, means that a seat can be split by the following percentage:

35 - Labour
20 - Reform
19 - Tories
14 - Libs
8 - greens
4 - independent

Here Labour win the seat.

The good news is that popular vote is used to provide funding, so Reform who currently only 3 years old, will be have funds to build a base and have air time on MSN etc.

The dailymail headline is negative towards Farage https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13557583/Nigel-Farage-blasted-echoing-Putins-vile-justification-Ukraine.html

However, the best rated comments don't agree to the media and support Nigel for saying the truth. Seems like the masses don't believe what the media is feeding them!!

FYI Bridgen was conservative MP who repeatedly questioned the Vaccine injuries and brought it up in parliament, and other truths. He was kicked out the conservatives so is now an independent. I would trust him, but the system is likely feeding him miss-information to label a crackpot / conspiracy theorist. I believe in the same interview he also brings up child trafficking.
