So some quick research shows its most common in the first 2 weeks of life for babies that were fed formula instead of breast milk. Also affects premature babies far worse. Inflames infants intestines and causes them to die. So if you feed an infant breastmilk, you are nourishing him and helping him grow Feed an infant formula produced in some factory - possibly kill the poor little soul. We should be asking what's in formula that isn't in breastmilk which is likely causing this! All the chemicals in our commercially produced food is catching up with us. I hear of so many little ones with stomach issues and it's probably the formula - it's not enough to to cause fatal damage to a 1 year old perhaps but it sure seems to effect these <2 week olds
