It's NO DIFFERENT than the Mafia. They threaten you with violence if you don't pay... and they supposedly give you "protection" in exchange.

A nice marketing program, like: "Come Home for Christmas" in all the appropriate languages (along with other seasonally themed campaigns) may be a nice way to get the ball rolling.
