You may not be aware:

Most ER physicians are not hospital employees. In fact, many hospitalists are not hospital employees either. In the past several years, there has been a move to use physician staffing services. That’s why when you go to the Er or hospital, you get a separate bill for the hospital, the doctor, the lab, and radiology. Even the transporters and housekeeping staff can be contractor employees, dispatched from a completely different state.

Self interest. You can’t get a book deal if nobody knows who you are.

She’s a poor excuse for a senator. I won’t vote for her a second time, that’s for sure.

I read the transcript. It was something like “Let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.” Not quoting verbatim, but I feel like the implication was there.

You are correct. Anniversaries are important.

When do we talk about the guys in the crowd with the matching boots that were just sort of observing? I mean, let’s be logical, do ya’ll really think that the military didn’t have a covert military presence in the crowd? The two next ppl in line to succession in a building surrounded by several thousand pissed off people? C’mon man.

Well, I guess the answer to his question would depend on whether you consider Long Beach to be an American city.

So for example, the teachers unions get caught short selling something like GME or are heavily invested in paper silver and then it decouples from physical silver. They can use the collective force of all their voting members (minions) to push a bunch of garbage that stresses the economy. Then they can make money on both ends - the open market and the schools still benefit from CoVid subsidies. Seems like an opportunity for a big scam against American taxpayers.

Wonder what would happen if one of those pension funds got Ponzied? What kind of lengths would they go to to get money back into the coffers?

The United Methodist Conference church in our region has gone CoVid crazy. Currently, you have to “reserve a spot”, sign in, social distance, wear masks and can’t sing. The bishop is a woman. No backbone. Have not been back since this whole shit-show started. Found a contemporary church (SBC but it’s down-low, which is interesting) that doesn’t require masks and you can sing all you want.

He’s cool in my book, I agree, he left under odd circumstances that didn’t ring true. He’s a salty old sailor, isn’t he?

I remember reading some where that mortgage forbearance and an inverted yield curve were both harbingers of impending financial collapse. CoVid was a convenient excuse to halt foreclosures. There are millions of auto loans in default as well. Sooner or later it’s going to get ugly.

My experience with Canadians is that they are very polite. Maybe they think it’s rude to protest (Unless over hockey)? Not being sarcastic. It’s probably a cultural thing to be this accommodating.

Build a basement rancher into the hill and stick a storm shelter in the basement under the porch. Plant some trees and shrubs away from the house for windbreaks. Some counties get hit harder than others with high winds.
