Here is another problem....I like going into the voting booth and checking whichever box I choose and I hope I won't have my perso al info attached to the barcode which is on the ballot. With mail in ballots, there is the ubiquitous bar code on the envelope which attaches a name and address to the ballot.
To me this somehow takes away the anonymity of one's vote. How about just have a pile of ballots at each polling place, check IDs and verify citizenship, and dont print bar codes on the ballots. Then when counting the votes the talley for paper ballots must equal the number of people who received a ballot. If something is off have a complete and thorough accounting of why the two numbers do not match.
In order to change peoples minds does it need to be in a fast fashion or slow? I'm thinking it will be a slow process to change their minds because they need to be shown, in a drip, drip, drip fashion so to no have their heads explode.
