I’ve wondered this myself. A possibility is this scenario: So End Times will occur so the prophecy of Relevations can happen as the Bible states. It’s possible that the actions of men can delay the end game if humanity is trying to change by drawing closer to Biblical values and to God. If humanity as a whole stayed asleep and continued diving hard into sin and worldly things I imagine those events would result in God pulling the End Times game plan.

I do not have any scripture to back this theory, only some examples in the Bible where God warned people to cease certain actions or they would be destroyed.
