our elected representatives must consent to our involvement
Not quite, Mr. Musk
Our elected representatives must declare war PRIOR to our involvement, as required by our Constitution
Maybe we'd all be better off just following what the Constitution says
I'm very hesitant to believe anything about an orally ingested mRNA vaccine. mRNA is naturally present in meat, which I consume daily. The human digestive system is able to break down proteins, of which mRNA is one type, into amino acids, which are the building blocks of all proteins, and then reorganize those amino acids into different proteins needed by the body.
You personally said there is a difference in innocent until proven guilty, and suggested the alternative is better.
I never expressed an opinion on whether one is better than the other; I merely noted that they are different.
In my view, this is just the way things are according to what I've read in the Bible. I think that your interpretation of what the Bible says is different than my interpretation.
I think we're arguing different perspectives of Original Sin. If you want a better explanation of this, including different nuances, check out https://www.gotquestions.org/original-sin.html
I wish you well in your quest for truth.
It's everyone's choice, unless the belief is inculcated from birth....young children are impressionable and can be made to believe things.
Traditions and worldview can be imparted onto children. But acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and belief in his resurrection is always an individual choice. The statistics show that the majority of children of Christians choose to leave the church in adulthood.
Is there a difference in those two statements?
Every person born since Adam sinned is guilty. That guilt is a consequence of Adam's decision to sin against God by eating of the forbidden fruit.
This is a significant shift in worldview from Western civilization where the default legal position of a person is innocence until proven guilty. In God's view, sin is a stain that persists across generations, and the only remedy is what Jesus has done.
It's inherited. Meaning if you are a descendant of Adam, you are a sinner in the eyes of God. The only way out of that predicament is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
That's the gospel message. It is offensive. But I believe it is truth.
The gospel is an offensive message. It says all mankind inherits a sinful nature from Adam, and the only way to make up for that sin is to accept the free gift of salvation from Jesus by making him Lord of your life and believing in his resurrection.
That's the message. It's your choice whether you want to believe it or not.

a child is the most pure, the most innocent being on the planet
Careful. Only Jesus Christ himself is innocent. All mankind is born sinful and guilty deserving of hell. It is only the few who accept Jesus as Lord and believe in his resurrection that are allowed into heaven; not on the basis of what any man has done, but on the basis of what Jesus has done for them.
Inked fingers prevents people from voting twice in person. I honestly think that rarely occurs. The real problem is the electronic tabulators and the corrupt people "counting" the votes.
