The headlines are disingenuous. It wasn't the county government that voted to reject the election, it's the county GOP party.
That's a step in the right direction. But it will matter more once a government vote, even a municipal government vote, is made to reject the 2020 election.
Junk mail will not go away. The post office, any post office really, has 2 customers: the sender and the recipient, although it's the sender who's paying them. You, as the recipient, can choose to accept or refuse delivery, and in fact even today you can write the word "REFUSED" on a mailpiece and place it in outgoing mail, and it will be returned to the sender. I believe this is the most effective way to limit junk mail, because the sender realizes that the cost of sending the mail was completely for naught.
Look at what private messaging platforms, like Signal, are doing for spam messages. You can block senders. That is the future. The email system that we use today is based on the postal system, and should be replaced with something like Signal.
A good theory, but I don't think it fits the "weekend" aspect. A weekend is 2 days. You might be able to stretch it out to 3 or 4 days.
Society's degenerates will not all of the sudden wake up and off themselves across a short period of time. They may off themselves, but it would be over a span of weeks, months, or years, not a weekend.
To me, the "weekend" means a sudden revelation of unavoidable doom. Like mass arrests or the media actually reporting the truth.
I'm pretty sure the Democrats thought they would lose (they did) and/or that their cheating would be exposed (it was). So they put forward their 2 most least-liked candidates to basically throw in the towel and try again in 2024.
What they did not expect was for Trump to allow them to steal the election. Now they're stuck with imbeciles in the white house destroying the democratic image. There are also disasters that need to be pinned on Biden, like the withdrawal from Afghanistan which looks bad no matter how you spin it. (Why were we in Afghanistan? The official reason is they were harboring Osama bin Laden who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks. But nevermind that he was found in the backyard of our supposed ally, Pakistan.)

The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves;
Only one vote cast by an elector may be for an inhabitant of the same state as the elector. If the Floridian elector votes for Trump for President, the elector may not vote for DeSantis for Vice President (or vice versa).
A primary purpose of the Constitution is to balance power among the states. Electors may vote for one candidate from their home state, but not both. This is to make it very difficult for a President and Vice President to come from the same state.
This is also why in 2000, Dick Cheney sold his home in Texas and moved into his vacation home in Wyoming, so he could be Vice President to W. And it was a good move too, considering they won by a single electoral vote. If he had kept his Texas residency, he would not have had enough electoral votes to be Vice President, and we'd have had a gop president and dem vice president.

DeSantis WILL NOT be Trump's running mate
This is because they are both from Florida, and the Constitution does not allow electors in the electoral college to cast both of their votes (for president and vice president) for a candidate from their home state.
If Trump and DeSantis run together, one of the two will not get Florida's electoral votes.
What's really scary is I think the chances that they can pull this off again are about 50-50. C19 has revealed to me how stupid people really are.
