Friend of mine tried making his own bacon for awhile. I never tasted it, but he did say it was a bit of a hit or miss experience before he got the hang of it.

She is the type that can always dish it out, but never take it.

(Who's the useful idiot BTW?)

It is insane what HR makes these days.

There is something weird about the Boeing debacle. Because a lot of this falls on the Airlines shoulders in terms of proper maintenance, but we hear nothing about them. In some ways it reminds me of DC-10s, back in the 1970s. It makes me wonder if there is something else associated with it.

The guy who does the comms blog puts a lot of dates together. I just tried that method. From a history of the DC-10:

The DC-10 had its fair share of problems following its introduction in the 1970s. On June 12th, 1972, American Airlines flight 96 had a cargo door failure leading to rapid decompression. As a result, two members of the crew and nine passengers were injured.

Following this, on March 3rd, 1974, Turkish Airlines flight 981 also had a cargo door failure. This led to explosive decompression and caused the deaths of all 346 people on board the flight.

What happened five days after the first crash in 1972? Watergate. The second crash in Turkey.in 1974, Impeachment hearings began that May. And Turkey is another word for the clowns.

So I nay be hallucinating, but something is just off here, IMHO.

There were some theories floating around early in CV as to why death rates in NY vs. CA were so different. CV obviously was here earlier than the official timeline. But given the number of people coming into the US from China to CA, you would think it would have been worse here. But CA was in a drought at the time and that January was very sunny. The theory was everyone got a lot of Vitamin D naturally.

I was in the car and just happened to catch this. Poor guy has been through a lot these past couple of years. I could not have done what he did.

Prayers for the Bongino family.

100%. When my dad's brother passed away, we knew it was coming. Middle of the night, my mom said my dad gasped and sat straight up in bed and said "my brother just died." Sure enough, we found out the next morning that he had died about 3:30am.

Both my grandma and my FIL'"visited" me several hours before they passed. Some of the clearest dreams I have ever had. It gave me peace and I feel lucky to have had the experience.

Bongino has been talking about this the last couple of days.

Have you thought about taking a mini-vacation? Even if it is just overnight? I know the financial situation is rough, but it doesn't have to be extravagant. Maybe it is a hike and lunch at the restaurant you had your first date with your wife or a night at a Bed and Breakfast. Just something to take a break.

I did this for my husband and me several years ago. Things were tight and we were getting on each other's nerves. We are about an hour flight from Vegas and I found a Southwest airfare and hotel package. We flew out on a Saturday morning and came back the next afternoon. We didn't do a lot. Took a nap. Went to a nice dinner, saw a show. But the change of scenery, even though it was not even 48 hours, did a lot for both of us. I look back at that weekend very fondly.

You are in my prayers fren...

Willam has never liked the media. I remember seeing stories about it when he was a child. I can't say I blame him.

Badlands is doing a series on their substack called 'Q for Dummies'. I think they have 7 chapters so far. Goes through the drops.

Bingo. I found Q during lockdown. It took me a month to go back and catch up. Had life been 'normal', no idea if I would have had the time.

That "logic" that things would have been worse without the jab drives me nuts. How could you possibly know? It is not like you get to do a do-over and compare.

Now do Gavin. Before they try to pull Joe.

PBD had Erik Prince on his podcast a few days ago and this came up. Prince's opinion was it was the Chinese and it was intended as a kind of shot across the bow (Taiwan , etc.) He put his odds at 70%.

I have no idea really, but it is plausible. Remember when there was a hack inro the Anthem Blue Cross database about 10-12 years ago? I was working at a Brokerage that did employee benefits, and initially they had these big town halls to address it so we would have something to tell the customers and then....nothing. There was talk that it was state sponsored, but it got hushed up pretty quick. (When CV hit, I thought about that because at one point, most people have had Anthem for medical. )

Fren, I am going to DM you. I am part of a national network of advisors- there is a guy in Miami who practices PI. He started his career defending insurance and trucking companies and he has flipped. (Some of the best advisors are those who have worked both sides of the street). If you don't see the DM, ping me here. Sometimes I have messed it up. But DO speak to an attorney before settling ANYTHING.

Praying for you 🙏.

If I had the money, I would send 535 quills and ink pots to Congress and then to our state houses as well. Bills should be written with a quill so the temptation of producing verbal diarrhea via word processing is discouraged. It was good enough for our founding fathers. Ergo, it is good enough for our representatives today.

There were a number of drops that alluded to maps of illegal immigrants overlapping blue districts. I wonder if the "map" are related. I like the analogy of latitude and longitude.
