This is great and all, but there was a Princess Cruise ship that slammed into the dock coming back from an Alaska Cruise just this week. The story I saw on the news said it came into the dock area kind of spinning. Accidents can happen (this doesn't mean it wasn't sabotage) and stuff can break. Who knows if either of those accidents were the result of hacks, drunk captains, something breaking, or were actually done on purpose?

Yeah I commented on this in the Babylon Bee thread earlier. Lee has been selling this since 2021. Trump inked a deal to use his name - probably helping a good friend who may be finished with his career due to old age and either cancer or throat issues. I know I heard something about that late last year but can't find anything online. Must've been during one of those "telethons" for veterans he helps with.

I'd love to see Flynn in a cabinet role, but I don't think that will happen. The Uniparty won't give him enough votes to pass the Senate "advice and consent" vote. They will blame it on him being convicted (I think he was but I've slept since then) and then pardoned. SECDEF would be good if he could pass the vote.

I'd like to see Adm Rogers as CIA/DIA/DNI or National Security Advisor.

That just gave me the worst mental image - picture a giant oozing yeast infection walking with a pig snout around in red high heels.

Now I'm concerned I passed our or was drugged somewhere and have one of Elon's neural interfaces implanted and spewing AI into my brain. Ugh.

Here are some facts.

Those Bibles are "God Bless the USA" bibles. As in Lee Greenwood.

From their FAQ:

QUOTE IS ANY OF THE MONEY FROM THIS BIBLE GOING TO THE DONALD J. TRUMP CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? No, GodBlessTheUSABible.com is not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign. GodBlessTheUSABible.com is not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Ventures LLC or any of their respective principals or affiliates.

GodBlessTheUSABible.com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms. /QUOTE

Also - this has been around for several years now and Trump wasn't involved.

https://slate.com/human-interest/2021/09/lee-greenwood-bible-christian-publishing.html

Finally Lee had Leukemia in 1991 and did chemo for it. I assume it went into remission given his career, but it could be back. Trump probably wants to help a friend (how many times has he played that song?) so he signed a "Name" deal.

The media is trying to say Trump is actually selling these to get money because he is broke. Everyone here knows better, especially since he just joined the top 500 richest people in the world with his DJT stock.

I thought the left told us solar is a "renewable" energy type? Guess they didn't mean the actual panels.

I was on a small plane sitting at the gate one time, waiting for everyone else to board. All the power went off, then a second or 2 it all came back on but systems started slowly. The pilot got on the intercom and told us the system rebooted and we would have to wait until everything came back up before they could shut the door and get ready to fly.

I wonder if the ship's systems rebooted?

He didn't say the case was overturned. He said it was the 5th time in this case he was overturned. As in 5 times so far Engoron ruled on something and was ultimately overruled.

As for the statute of limitations - he was referring to when he appealed on grounds of statutes of limitation. They were going after him for stuff as far back as 2011. The appeals court said they could only go back to 2014. Engoron said he can consider evidence from 2011, and that the statute of limitations doesn't effect evidence if it's used to help prove future issues inside of the statute of limitations. It will be yet another grounds for appeal.

I considered them "edgy" as he was always pushing the boundaries of decency on TV. Unfortunately the rest of the world's attitudes changed and ITV ended up sacking him rather suddenly. He died alone in his chair in a flat near his old studio.

These days if that comedic format was tried again the people involved would probably all be fined or arrested.

That math would be wrong. It would take 4 if your numbers are right. Four switching from R to D would be 213+4 and 219-4 - D 217 R 215.

Most of us know it is a uniparty. However labels still matter. What you aren't taking into consideration is even with Johnson being a RINO, because he is a republican we still have control over all of the committees. If Jeffries becomes speaker, idiots like RATskin, Schiff, AOC, and Nadler will instantly become committee chairmen and kill everything currently going on. Then there will be 24/7 hearings on Trump (since that is what they talk about during the meetings anyway). I know we are wasting time on a lot of the stupid hearings, but the dems would be focused and go straight for whatever they wanted.

Don't forget CONgress can invoke the 14th Amendment (not the states). Section 5:

The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

That would be the 1st thing a dem house with a dem senate would do - tailor a law dealing with J6 that would make Trump ineligible.

I think what MTG is getting ready to do is idiotic, this close to an election and with such a slim minority. The Rs won't be able to agree on anyone and the Ds will unite behind Jeffries. Even worse, there are a handful of Rs that could resign at any minute (RINO, never-Trumpers) and that would just give the majority to the Ds. Buck was the first - there may be more.

How many of you ever heard the 2nd and 3rd verse of the Cheers theme song "Where Everybody Knows Your Name"? I thought it was a joke when I first heard it. I wonder how many more are like this?

Here is what Pornhub sends you if you connect from Texas:

Dear user,

As you may know, your elected officials in Texas are requiring us to verify your age before allowing you access to our website.

Not only does this impinge on the rights of adults to access protected speech, it fails strict scrutiny by employing the least effective and yet also most restrictive means of accomplishing Texas’s stated purpose of allegedly protecting minors.

While safety and compliance are at the forefront of our mission, providing identification every time you want to visit an adult platform is not an effective solution for protecting users online, and in fact, will put minors and your privacy at risk.

Attempting to mandate age verification without any means to enforce at scale gives platforms the choice to comply or not, leaving hundreds of thousands of websites open and accessible.

As we've seen in other states, such bills have failed to protect minors, by driving users from those few websites which comply, to the hundreds of thousands of websites with far fewer safety measures in place, which do not comply. Very few sites are able to compare to the robust Trust and Safety measures

Unfortunately, the Texas law for age verification is ineffective, haphazard, and dangerous. Not only will it not actually protect children, but it will also inevitably reduce content creators’ ability to post and distribute legal adult content and directly impact their ability to share the artistic messages they want to convey with it.

The safety of our users is one of our biggest concerns. We believe that the only effective solution for protecting minors and adults alike is to verify users’ age on their device and to either deny or allow access to age-restricted materials and websites based on that verification.

We call on all adult sites to comply with the law. Until the real solution is offered, we have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Texas. In doing so, we are complying with the law, as we always do, but hope that governments around the world will implement laws that actually protect the safety and security of users.

We encourage you to:

Learn more about device-based age verification* solutions that make the internet safer while also respecting your privacy. Contact your representatives and demand device-based verification solutions that make the internet safer while also respecting your privacy. *Device-Based Age Verification refers to any approach to age verification where the personal information that is used to verify the user’s age is either shared in-person at an authorized retailer, inputted locally into the user’s device, or stored on a network controlled by the device manufacturer or the supplier of the device’s operating system. Whether through pre-installed content blocking and filtering software, the disabling of web-browsing permissions, or other means, the user will then be prevented from accessing age-restricted content over the internet unless they are age-verified. To come to fruition, such an approach requires the cooperation of manufacturers and operating-system providers.

That's why they are working to get MRNA into all the rest of the "vaccines".

edit - they must've finished getting it into the measles vaccine since there is an "outbreak" on the news.

Yes they are, but in this case they published that article verbatim from The Daily Beast. It even looks like a Yahoo smear job. Like minds I guess.

I actually bought the 2024 Canadian and Australian silver (legal-tender) coins a few weeks ago. I'm trying to get some real money to go with my other silver rounds. Both of them had Chucky on the front (or is it the rear?).
