Damn - they're talking about loadmaster issues. Loadmasters are people who determine exactly where to place cargo in a plane, including passengers, so that the aircraft can fly in proper balance.
Every private pilot has to be their own loadmaster so that their plane is not overloaded and/or out of balance.
Once when I was flying a small commercial propeller plane - United, I think - it was packed full and the pilots had two loadmasters come on board and start rearranging all the carry-on stuff. Pilots would not take off until they did.
You don't realize that loadmasters are a thing until you see them, but they are. And nothing screams "F'ng DEI Hires who can't do math or physics" until you suddenly have no loadmasters.
Sure, a lot of that is done with software but you've still got to have people who know if the numbers they're getting actually make sense or not.
I am also researching this like crazy and it's that's how hard it is to find anything decent, any speculation that makes sense I'm not really finding it

Fun fact - Sabre was created by an American Airlines president and an IBM salesman. AA used SABRE first and other airlines followed.
