About 4am, I turned on FOX 8 in NOLA. The reporter was saying something to the effect of "Who cares about a football game? Who cares when Bourbon St. reopens? People died. We should be thinking about their families and friends grieving." Hopefully, he still has his job.

Even though there's video of 3 men and 1 woman putting suspicious packages around the French Quarter. There was also a bomb found at the Jax Brewery which is on the River across Decatur from the French Quarter. Guess the package had legs and out itself there. Okay, FBI, we believe you.🙄

Not saying this necessarily means anything but the Turo CEO's name is Andre Haddad and he's based in San Francisco.

It's my opinion that if a member of the NOPD had not told a Times Picayune reporter the perp's name that the FBI would still be acting like they didn't know his identity. The FBI woman said it was not a terror attack until word leaked about the terrorist's name. All of a sudden, it's a terrorist act. Seems that member of the local police force knows how law enforcement games the public and he/she was not going to stand by and allow that to happen.

Leave it to Mayor Latoya da Destroya. Getting the bollards ready for the Super Bowl BUT it seems NYE and the Sugar Bowl crowds were forgotten. Would serve her right if thousands cancelled their hotel rooms for the Super Bowl.

Truck driver's name released to reporter by someone with law enforcement probably wanted to make sure the truth is told. Driver is Shamsud Din Jabbar "The source said Jabbar was carrying an ISIS flag in the truck, and authorities have said he was dressed in military gear."

When I've seen posts, tweets, whatever, stating "poor families", my response has been, "There wouldn't be tears if they had not crossed into the US illegally.". The truth does not always go over well.

I think that when Carter did not support the Shah of Iran, he brought us the Ayatollah Khomeini, the Iran hostage crisis and all of our Middle East problems. Thank you Mr. Peanut. Carter lost the Panama Canal for us. All in all Carter was a terrible POTUS. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." is a good fit for Jimmy.

This is why I didn't go ballistic. POTUS always has a plan. I follow his lead. When he didn't come out with guns blazing, I figured he was in on it.

Yep, it's why I've been saying that I trust and will follow what POTUS says. Not Elon, not Bannon, no one but POTUS. People have apparently forgotten the 48-72 hour rule. May be longer but POTUS knows what he's doing.

If proven true, I want to see Zelenskyy strapped to a table live on tv. Doctors can take a metal nail file and a pair of cuticle scissors to remove Zelenskyy's penis and scrotum. Oh and It doesn't matter if the file and scissors are blunt.

Melania is more beautiful. The press raved over Jackie because back then, they loved JFK. They were a young vivacious couple. Jackie was very pretty.

Read somewhere that Carrey is staring his own religion in Canada. Wonder if we'll see him begging for money on tv?

His show Afterlife was hysterical.

Hanks was one of the biggest if not the biggest shock/disappointment out of all the things revealed about celebrities. He came across as such a nice person. I remember feeling betrayed which is weird because I don't know Hanks. Now, I can't stand the sight of him.

My grandson gets a kick out of looking at memes so I can see this happening. We sit at my laptop and laugh like crazy.

No sweetener in my coffee or tea - if I'm baking, I use sugar. If baking gingerbread, I use raw sugar from the local mill. We only bake goodies around the holidays.

Back in the 70s, I took my toddler son and left my abusive husband. My son and I lived on $200/month from which I had to pay rent, utilities, food, etc. I qualified for the WIC (Women with Dependent Children?) program. The food I could buy was very limited and no junk food was allowed. That was fine with me because we didn't eat it anyway except once a month when I took him for pizza and dollar night at the movies. He was allowed a candy bar. Took all month to save the less than $15 it cost but those are some good memories! Bring back healthy food for families on food stamps!
