I use credit karma.com for free credit monitoring. Also every single credit card I own offer credit scores on their websites.

You can also contact the credit agencies and ask that they do extra screening for any new accounts that are opened in your name. That will hopefully help in the short term.

Personally I check my checking accounts every day for unexpected activity, and all my credit cards every week.
