God calls us home according to his timing, not ours. If you have any unresolved issues with your mom, talk to her. She's in a better place, and can still see you when you are conversing with her. She may or may not be able to offer any tangible sign that she hears you, but then again, she might. People who have died and been resuscitated tell of deceased family members coming to greet them.
