According to Patrick Byrne this ruling kills the mandate; it has been issued, challenged, and re-confirmed in event stronger language. No basis for the supreme court to take this one up, so no path for appeals.

Correct. Wisconsin law restricts short guns, but not long rifles by age. There was no law preventing him carrying a long rifle. And the charges for curfew violation were dropped last week as they were either invalid, or generally not being enforced.
The question with Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg, et al is how much of what they gained did they create or earn? Was Facebook handed to Zuck by DARPA as LifeLog? Did Gates create Microsoft or was he set up in business by his well connected family?
I like to remind them of two facts: 1) the virus is 100x smaller than the holes in your mask. A mask to stop covid is like a chain link fence to keep out mosquitoes; and 2) 90% of all hospitalizations and deaths are in people who are vitamin D deficient. About half of the people tell me they do take vitamin D, at which point they can wear the mask if they want.
So I have no talent. I spend 15 hours producing a piece of crap. A gifted student spends 2 hours making a product that is orders of magnitude better than mine. I do not deserve a higher grade because I had to try harder; grades are based on output, not effort. If that were the case the dumbest students would receive the highest grade. If medical schools were graded that way, I would NOT want the student with the highest grades taking care of me.
