My state pulls a total bullshit here. we have no early voting, but if people went to the town hall and requested to vote early they'd sit them down at a table with a " mail-in " ballot and no envelope, handed to a person and not deposited in a box or read into a machine.
Their stress comes from reality, and especially others succeeding in it. They've given up on life and thrown their lot in with the rest of the hopeless. The worst thing for them is seeing the evidence in others that it's not all for nothing and that there is purpose to life, because their very identity relies on misery and hopelessness. So they have a pretty powerful cognitive dissonance when they are presented with belief in God or happy families and people helping each other of their own will.

constantly in contact with the antennas/cell towers around the devices. these towers have the information of what devices were pinging them and signal strength, from there it's a matter of triangulation.
they're right, not supposed wear or bring anything in with you identifying with specific candidates or parties. it's a dumb rule but some people feel that it can cause a form of voter suppression.
the ensuing shitshow is ridiculous though.
they couldn't clip a sound-byte out of context to smear him with, so...
and that's impressive given the length of the interview, kamala and joe can't keep their gums flapping for minutes without making asses of themselves
Here I've only ever had them cross my name off and confirm my address so they can give me the correct second page for local elections in my area, had a guy shirk away from my license like he was a vampire and the license was a cross last time, I just wanted him to read the address cause he didn't understand me the first time that I said it. We don't have early voting here in Maine unfortunately.
I hit the booze pretty hard and fell asleep around 7 last night, woke up around 4 and felt the weight of of a dying star lift from my chest.
