"misinformation" merely means it information contrary to their "information", and "malinformation" means it is information that is hostile to them or their "information". So to go along with their narrative you'd have to think their "information" was the truth, which would makes sense of the demonization of it all, but if you see their "information" as the lies they are, then it becomes clear what they are really against.
Disney has killed this franchise. anyone that would try to save it would have to ret-con too much at this point. "Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money" could make Scrooge McDuck bucks. (i have little faith in Amazon however..)
