You are correct. Despite the fact that Ukraine's internet is up and practically everyone has cell phones. We get absolutely no video of anything concerning the war in Ukraine. Even 23 years ago in Iraq, we got wartime footage. Now, we get nothing. When the war first started, we got a little bit. But it was so quickly debunked as staged or even video game footage, they just stopped trying.
It's not the eclipse that people are afraid of. Of course, the eclipse by itself isn't going to do anything to anyone. It is the evil possibly being planned around the eclipse. Me as well. Billions would die from starvation and disease. Half of everything would burn down in riots. I don't see how everyone can just start working the land, with no farming experience, and no land to work. Every current government in the world would cease to exist without technology to hold them together. It would be total chaos. Sure, we were once able to exist without technology, but no one remembers how. I don't think that's God's plan.
