If you head into any CBD/Delta-8 type shop (in TX we have only this) they generally have a large selection of "almost" psilocybin gummies and such. I haven't tried them myself... and I'm sure they aren't a solution... but they could help... or even CBD. I have experience (well ,through a relative with a transplant) that hand shakes and memory issues due to being on steroids for a long period of time are helped by CBD. Although they report basically nothing felt at all head wise... they just don't have shaking hands for a while and they are still figuring out if it helps with memory. No addiction from these things unlike oxycodone or other very addictive things you might get perscribed and not consider the drug side of it. Now for your actual question... I would look at anything being used medically and not abused can't be a bad thing - legality to me is important with family and kids, probably should consider this. Best of wishes to your parents, fren. NCSWIC!
ya, I expected some downvotes... but seriously... gangs involved in drugs, human trafficing, ok with murder are horrible - this is true of both gangs from another country and gangs that started here. The cops not doing anything is completely garbage and I don't understand that - gotta be some top-down from way up high corruption in Denver/Aurora. NCSWIC!
One cannot be pro law enforcement and pro hells angels at the same time - anyone who thinks otherwise just needs to do the shallowest of dives into the gang - it is no joke still today. They are criminals… period. Maybe the Venezuelans are interfering with their meth business.
I wasn't going to reply again, but man, you just had to top the stupid. Did you really just say voting against Trump is treason? I don't think you know how this country works and just how our democratic republic works. The article didn't infer anything and this looks quite a bit like straying from the facts. There is nothing in the article that indicates ANY dead voter removed from the voter rolls had been used to cast a vote after they died. The article states only that they were removed... which is a good thing and now they can't be used for fraud in the future. Again, it is obvious you haven't actually read the article and thus you don't know your position here is flawed. I hope you figure this out soon because NCSWIC!
I'm going to offer a different view. Although I completely disagree with an arrest here, I would argue this is not a first amendment issue. She was in a controlled setting with rules. The forum was setup to bring up city and council issues and specifically not to complain about a particular person. She not only used the forum to bring up a particular person but she also brought up that persons salary. This was not a first amendment issue and they have every right to state what the forum is for and to have her removed for not sticking to it. This is not violating any first amendment right at all. Again, I don't agree with the arrest and man the Mayor really gives me the eeby-jeebies, sure, but her first amendment rights were not violated here. There is a logical distinction between barring someone from saying something in a completely public and open forum (like a literal soap-box on the street) and a forum "open to the public". The council and mayer did not at any time request she be arrested - they asked for her to be removed because she wasn't adhering to the laid out rules. She was arrested for her behavior in leaving - which we can all agree is BS. I have seen a number of these where its not the same, someone is completely discussing policy or "the city" and they go for kicking them out - this, although abhorrent also isn't a first amendment issue whether you agree with it or not. Ok, different view offered - don't hate me, but I feel this would be an easy thing to defend for the city there.
You are confusing the non-citizens.... again, go read the article as you have missed this. The dead voters removed WERE NOT non-citizens (well, probably a few were given the bit removed - but that's not important here as it would be small %)
Re-read the source please - you have missed some important details. There are separate stats for non-citizens removed and dead voters removed and I think you are confusing them together. I'm not going to reply again here but you are mistaken.
Regardless - NCSWIC! (we're on the same side here after all, fren)
You keep stating what isn't in the article... and what is missleading about the subject here. Where are you getting they were illegally registered to begin with? The article says there are half a million dead people on the voter rolls. This seems to be the magical leap you are magic in you head. There are half a million people on the voter rolls that more than likely voted LEGALLY when they were alive and registered LEGALLY. They have since died. They weren't removed from the rolls. THERE IS NO OTHER INFORMATION. I would argue it makes much more sense they were all 100% legally registered and legally voted in the past. They died and were not removed from the rolls. How is this hard to understand? Now that they are dead and still on the rolls someone "may" have used them to vote - but that info isn't in the article either. Logics and Critical Thinking 101 was a useful class after all I guess... even if that was 30 years ago.
I see the problem - it’s a simple one… “No? But you lose your registration when you die, unless it’s voter fraud” - there is no “lose your registration” until someone removes you when you die from the voter rolls. It is this action that is not getting done. There is no magic “lose your registration when you die” fairy. And so 457k people hadn’t been removed and they now are. Good job TX. Being in a voter roll doesn’t mean you voted… it means you are registered to vote. If you don’t get it by now I dont know what to tell you but it’s this kind of thing that some lefty sees while trolling here and you get Rachel Madcow laughing about Trump supporters thinking half a million dead people voted in TX - which if you read the article to begin with isn’t what was said. trying to keep mud off of GAW’s face here by calling out a misstep when I see it.
Seems like normal climate changes over time... I had seen it all up in Idaho - or so I thought. Moved to NorCal and thought "now" I've seen it all... now in TX and WTF TX - taco stand down the road was taken out by a Tornado. But then again I saw a legit tornado take out a friends fence back in San Luis Obispo, CA. Crazy unpredictable weather. We've had mild summer in central TX so far, that's for sure. Um... ok... just not "muh, climate change" :) - NCSWIC!!!
